Our 12 team redraft will expand to 14 teams this year. We are trying to decide how best to structure the playoffs. Should we stick with top four teams enter a 2 week playoff in Weeks 15 and 16? Or, should we consider expanding the playoffs to 3 weeks and include the top 6 or 8 teams after week 13? Any other good alternatives?

Would love to get the insight of anyone who has plays in 14 team leagues about what people seem to enjoy most.

We have 2 divisions. Each division winner gets money and is gauranteed either the 1 or 2 seed. They are joined by 6 other teams, seed 3-8. We have 3 weeks of playoffs ending week 16. 14 teams allows for a 13 week season, in which every team faces off against each other so there are no imbalanced schedules. Everyone likes it.

Seed 1 & 2 get bye - team 3 vs team 6, team 4 vs team 5

Week 15

Seed 1 vs lowest ranked survivor of week 14

Seed 2 vs other winner

Week 16

Championship
