Think you've got what it takes to win? Let's see who can rip it the best here.
Rules are simple.
1) Sign up in this thread if you're interested. We'll take the first 32 to sign up (we'll drop to 16 if that's all we can muster up)
2) I'll randomly assign into 4 divisions with 8 in each and set up the bracket. There won't be any seeds because, really, how?
3) You'll have a day to upload your best work. Use your phone or whatever you want to record. Audio is all that is needed but any accompanying video can only help. Upload it wherever you want although the U-tube will probably be easiest.
4) We'll start the voting process and it'll be a H2H, single elimination format. Each division will have its own thread to vote in with links included.
5) When we get to the Final Four, the last 4 participants will have a chance to resubmit an entry if they'd like. Prior to that, original submissions will carry you through.
6) The winner gets nothing.
That's it. Post here if you're interested in competing. Also, if there's interest, we can do this as an anonymous tournament where the links can be PM'd and I'll put them up without names.
Anyone caught uploading a sample that isn't their original work (hi Tim
) will be automatically eliminated.
