The NFL Competition Committee is pleased to announce the following changes for the 2005-2006 NFL season. In conjuction with the changes implemented last year, these new rules are aimed at making the game more exciting for our fans and allowing the league to showcase the premier athletes in the game.1. Snow, wind, and imperfect conditons will be disallowed. All teams must build domes and install artificial surfaces on all fields.2. The Indianapolis Colts are awarded home field advantage throughout the play-offs, even if they do not make the play-offs.3. Defenses and special teams are no longer allowed on the field.( a ) Any head coach whose first name is Bill, William, or Billy is not allowed to game plan.( b ) By rule, an incomplete pass is considered to be caused by a defensive penalty.( c ) Place kickers are no longer allowed to give public interviews to mass media.4. Per agreement with out broadcasting partners, any signage pertaining to the well-known drama "Peyton's Place" is not allowed, as it violates the show's copyright. :link: coming next year.

Did anyone see the replay of the pass Wilson almost intercepted at the end of the half? I forget if it was Bruschi or McGinest, but one of them LEVELED Dallas Clark as he went out for a pass. That was just sweet.GG

I don't really like either one of these teams, but from an unbiased perspective I think the Patriots are the sneakiest team in the league. Last year it was lets bump and hold and grab and tackle any receiver because the refs "can't call it every time". This year, while everyone was looking at the receivers, the Pats offensive line just flat out blatantly holds on every play. The classic grab, grab, turn, release move. Flat out, the refs can't call holding on every play.I thought it was a brilliant move by the Patriots.

Every offensive line holds on every play of every NFL game. Any replay of any Colts pass yesterday will show the same thing.

You know, I'm a Pats fan....but what is the delayed flag on interference all about? Why does it take several seconds after the play to throw it? And why not throw a flag several seconds after an offensive lineman holds?
Good lord, has any coach been at the helm of more playoff offensive ineptitude than Tony Dungy?
Marty Schottenheimer?

I thought Freeney was very impressive Sunday. I didn't notice what you're referring to, I can say a few plays Freeney's spinning seemed unstoppable and Light just sorta waved at him.

I wonder why us Pats fans are considers such huge #######s around here.Lame bump dude.
Really lame bump... and I was totally :lmao: with the line about Richard Seymour being inactive. Spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure out how I hadn't heard anything about this before.
