2006 NFL DRAFT (1 Viewer)

This thread needs a different title - I didn't know where the Draft update thread went.
Thanks Wheelhouse. A little problem with merging the thread but we're good now.Tags is walking up to make his last draft intro.

:lmao: @ Irvin: "Defense wins championships is NOT true!!!"

Hmm...

Pittsburgh, New England, New England, Tampa Bay, St. Louis.

4-1 says you're full of ####.

I can't see the Jets landing Bush. Jets fans are always disapointed at the draft. Somehow, they've got to let hm slip away.

Texans on the clock...
Not sure why they wouldn't hand in the card immediately. Might as well put more pressure on the Saints by turning in the card right away and putting them on the clock.

All five of those teams had pretty good offenses. New England was a top 5 offense in 2004.Teams who are tops on both sides of the ball win championships.

There we go. Nice job. Lots of boos. Let's hope those fans don't regret it like Eagles fans regret booing McNabb.

That was my ofificial "switch to the NFL Network for draft coverage" point. I can't wait to hear Irvin discuss the ethics of Reggie Bush/USC issue.

LOL great minds think alike.....I flipped over at the sam time.

The Bills were 2-14 the season before selecting Bruce Smith in 1985 as the #1 pick. I'm just saying... there is hope Houston.

Complete hypothetical here...

What if the Saints don't pick in time :o and the Titans are on the clock - do they take Bush or Young? :lmao:

Houston Took Mario Williams!!!
It's too bad the Texans announced their pick early. It would have been quite a moment if the Williams pick was a surprise.
Exactly, why didn't they wait? If they knew all along who they were taking, why not try and screw up the other teams by surprising them with their pick? I don't get it.

I don't think so. When he was talking to Suzy Kolber earlier, he looked real pissed at the thought of being a Saint.

You'll be lucky if he doesn't force a trade.

Or, considering how long he'd likely sit demanding #1 money, unlucky if he doesn't force a trade.

Very poor thread merge, Chase. You're going to try to keep every draft-related topic in one thread today? Why?? Are there a million other things going on in football today entirely unrelated to the draft that need to be taking up that space in the Shark Pool?

Saints should capitalize on the Texans huge blunder.

Take Bush, and watch him become the most dangerous offensive weapon in NFL history on the Superdome Turf. He'll own N'Awlins in 2 years.

Don't trade down New Orleans - you'll regret it.

we hit another speedbump with this thread again...
Got it fixed Wheelhouse. A little bit of difficulty trying to keep things under control so we don't have a ton of threads flying over the place with the same stuff. We'll be good to go.
