2006 NFL DRAFT (2 Viewers)

You'll be lucky if he doesn't force a trade.

Or, considering how long he'd likely sit demanding #1 money, unlucky if he doesn't force a trade.
Well, the Saints have quite a bit of leverage.Bush falls out of the first round in 2007 if he sits out all year.

we hit another speedbump with this thread again...
Got it fixed Wheelhouse. A little bit of difficulty trying to keep things under control so we don't have a ton of threads flying over the place with the same stuff. We'll be good to go.

How about a ton of threads flying all over the place with different stuff? How is that a sub-optimal result?

Can someone explain to me when they started this "draft picks points" thing. I don't understand a damn thing they are saying with this

We've had some people ask us to do this, and think it's a good idea. Enjoy the draft mrh.

I'd guess you are the only one with that opinion.Who needs to see 194 threads about stupid little crap?

Back to the normal draft now. #1 and #2 flipped but that's it.

Think NO will trade him now?

J
Maybe. Time was running out. Maybe by the time they get to the Jets pick a deal can get ahmmered out.

It's not. Read what he said. He didn't want a ton flying around with the same stuff. It's not complicated.J

If I own the Saints, and I saw all those folks at the New Orleans practice facility jumping up and down with excitement for the Bush selection, I don't even entertain offers at this point.

Football is a business, and Michael Jordan is good for business. Good for New Orleans, they deserve this fotuitous turn of events.

Doubt it seriously. He'll be hard to sign ... but Tags might actually put behind-the-scenes pressure on Tom Benson to shell out the dough with a smile. This would ultimately help the team make staying in New Orleans work financially.

Steal of the draft if he becomes an elite RB.

Bust of the draft if he becomes another Ki-Jana Karter or Tim Biakabutka
That's sort of self-evident, wouldn't you say?
Just a heads up before we get started. Turn the tool factor WAY down if you want to keep posting. WAY down.J

No reason why Bush can't go to the Jets when New York is on the clock, Eli/Philip style. Maybe New Orleans wants to see if the other player they want will still be there after Tennessee picks. Now that Bush is temporarily a Saint, they have leverage with N.Y.
