Holmes ok?Wow, if Jackson is there at 32 along with White. Pitt could have a very tough decision to make. I'd beC. Jackson kickin' it live with the honeys.either way they went with those 2 guys though!
Make that a ($)^&Because he is a moronWhy does Chris Berman continue to make it look like he doesn't know the pick before it gets to the podium. It's clear from earlier in the draft that he is being fed the pick before the announcement.
moronThink Williams goes to the Jets?PITT Trade.
DWilliams coming.
Guess they didn't want Jackson or Moss, or didn't think they'd be there in time.hmm. Why'd they trade up? dammit. I think a quality player would have fallen to them. Hope they didn't give up much. Maybe one of their extra 4ths.
If hes not in your top 10, get him there.Big Ben CONTINUES to rise up my QB rankings this year...
Man, they are TAILORING that offense to him.
nicely done Pitt.
If he is the #1 WR on Pitts. board, the yes. I trust them.Holmes ok?Wow, if Jackson is there at 32 along with White. Pitt could have a very tough decision to make. I'd beC. Jackson kickin' it live with the honeys.either way they went with those 2 guys though!
I'm thinking this as well.Fred Taylor injury questions for the Jags and the Jets right after them...I'm thinking DeAngelo doesn't fall to the Colts...
Am I wrong to feel like we just dodged a bullet?Willie Parker owners breathe a sigh of relief (me included).
Those 2 picks above Jags and Panthers scare me. I hope he lands.Think Williams goes to the Jets?PITT Trade.
DWilliams coming.
The rich get richer. I think this is an outstanding pick

who got picked?Am I wrong to feel like we just dodged a bullet?Willie Parker owners breathe a sigh of relief (me included).
I wouldn't be surprised to see a RB land to them in the 2nd. but yes, for now, you have dodged.Am I wrong to feel like we just dodged a bullet?Willie Parker owners breathe a sigh of relief (me included).
Nope.Am I wrong to feel like we just dodged a bullet?Willie Parker owners breathe a sigh of relief (me included).
wow they did give up a bunchhmm. Why'd they trade up? dammit. I think a quality player would have fallen to them. Hope they didn't give up much. Maybe one of their extra 4ths.
Any chance Holmes drops far enough for the Steelers to package some picks and trade up to get him?

Exactly. Not a great move at all. Good pick, bad management of that pick.Wow. The Steeler gave up a 3rd and 4th pcik fo get WR that was likely to fall to them.. Ouch
No way this guy was going to last much longer. They probably had him around 18th overall on their boards.Wow. The Steeler gave up a 3rd and 4th pcik fo get WR that was likely to fall to them.. Ouch
Thats better.Roethlisberger = top 25![]()
He wasn't going to fall to them...and that is who they wanted...you can only sign so many players anyway, so why not get one you really want.Great Pick Steelers!Wow. The Steelers gave up a 3rd and 4th pick fo get WR that was likely to fall to them.. Ouch
What about the Panthers? They could grab a RB.Fred Taylor injury questions for the Jags and the Jets right after them...I'm thinking DeAngelo doesn't fall to the Colts...
Obviously they didn't think so, and they had a ton of extra picks to play with.Excellent pick, and it fills a huge need in my opinion. Giving up the last pick in the 3rd round and a 2nd day pick is a fair price, and most importantly, they got the guy they wanted.Couldn't have had him at #32?

Yeah. That kind of sucks. They do (did) have 10 picks, so they could give up a little. But their 1st 3rd and one of their 4ths to move up 7 spots? I guess they really liked Holmes and were afraid that the Bears wanted him.wow they did give up a bunchhmm. Why'd they trade up? dammit. I think a quality player would have fallen to them. Hope they didn't give up much. Maybe one of their extra 4ths.
Steelers do almost everything perfectly as an organization. IMO this was not the smartest move but as you said, they fill their biggest need and do get a really nice player.Obviously they didn't think so, and they had a ton of extra picks to play with.Excellent pick, and it fills a huge need in my opinion.
