2006 NFL DRAFT (1 Viewer)

Titans just set their franchise back years.

Vince Young is a project...they will have to hide him in this offecnse...behind Brown/Henry? Titans won't have a winning season this year or next...or the one after that...or the next one.
That is exactly right. Unless they keep McNair around.

If Cutler falls past 10 - look for the JEts to trade up for him - after the ridiculous trade deamnds for Bush - the #29 and 2nd rder for Cutler may not be a bad fall back. Remember the owner loves Cutler - he has to fall past Rams for it to happen though

Brick and Cutler? I can dream!!!

I think the Raiders will pick huff.
It's certainly between Huff and Leinart. I'd be pleased with either, as our pass defense is absolutely horrid. They only had 5 PICKS last year. But it's time for Leinart.
It will be Huff, unless Al trades down.
Why? Stuart Schweigert is a good young safety who played a lot as a rookie. Why would they take Huff? That makes no sense to me. But I'm not a Raider fan.

Wow! Thought that would be Leinert for sure. Does he now go to the Raiders, the Cards, or does he gon on an Aaron Rodgers type skid? I am guess that the Raiders take him.
The Brick will be traded to NO and the Jets will get Bush .... Guaranteed!!
I disagree. I think Bush's talent + NO's situation (post Katrina) mean's the Saints have just drafted the face of their franchise for years to come.
I still can't get past Houston not taking him. Okay they didnt need him, I fully agree there, but by leaving him and the #1 pick on the table they just busted their nut and left ALOT of value on the table. They could have traded that # 1 overall for a high first rounder ++++ (perhaps another pick this year or a first rounder next year) and probably still have gotten willams? Why leave so much on the table? WHy not try to cash in on the benefit of the utter failure the Texans have been?

Raiders are all about taking glitter like Leinart than addressing their needs in the secondary.
Yeah, because they haven't drafted ANY secondary players recently....
5 picks last year. They need to create more turnovers on defense. As a Lion fan, I'm not happy they took Huff.

Here's where it gets interesting again. Bills, Lions, Cards. Who knows? Cards are bound to take a qb though. Depends on who falls to them.

Leinart would be perfect in Arizona and Denny Green's QB friendly system. He gets to sit for the first few weeks and then replaces Warner.

so Lienart stayed in school one more year for this, hahaha. No national championships, and quite a few million dollars...

I think its very possible that Bush isn't this "far and away #1 choice" that we made him out to be. The Saints surely weren't overwhelmed with a trade offer to give him away. Maybe nobody was willing to offer all that much to get Bush.

Somehow, I cannot feel sorry for a guy (Leinart) who is still going to be a high first round NFL draft pick and gets millions of dollars handed to him very soon.
