Hmmm I was right in my Mock that the Rams would trade the pick...although I had it being the Vikings getting Cutler...close enough.

When your carrear is over its Rings and Pro Bowls that count!! While the Cards have a bad history they seen to have changed their colors and are about to make their mark. They also hired a great offensive line coach in the off season so I expect them to make there mark.They also have a nice new air conditioned stadium.

Not to mention the immortality of bringing a Super Bowl to AZ. Plummer was god there for winning a playoff game.
 
I highly doubt Orlovsky will be with the Lions next season. I expect Marinelli and Martz to draft a QB prospect of their own with a late round pick.

Why do you think that? I read somewhere (probably Killer) that the staff likes Dan O. Have you heard differently?

Can someone explain to me why the Broncos need a QB bad enough to trade up like this? Isn't Plummer still young enough to play for 5 more years? Aren't they a super bowl contender who could use a sudden impact player? I don't get it.

 
Slap in the face to Plummer. Maybe they are trying to shake him and prepare for the fuure at the same time.

I suspect McNair will be back in Tenn to tutor Young. They are very close. A good friend of mine went to the Rose Bowl and sat with McNair and McNair's family... they're very close :)

Even though Plummer has played well, the Broncos probably think, as do I, that he has maxed out his upside.

Plummer has been solid - very shocked that they felt it was that much of a need. So does Jay sit for a year behind Jake or isthe snake history.
 
Apparently Rat doesn't think Denver is that close to a Super Bowl after all.

Great pick for the future, though.
