I'm beginning to wonder about Justice to the Vikings. Hmmm.
Clemons in the first would be a reach. If they have their sites set on him, they could wait until the 35th pick. He could even fall into the 3rd.Gotta think that the Jets are thinking Kellen Clemons with their late 1st rounder. I think he would seriously prosper in NY, plus they got the guy they wanted at 1.4.
Jets could be huge in the first round. Thoughts?

Should help his career....anyone can play behind that line. Also hearing that the Eagles got Walker....saw it in another thread...didn't see a link though.Denver just traded for Barlow.Cutler's a year or two away from making an impact. Denver just spent their 1st and 3rd picks on a player who will have ZERO impact in 2006.As a Charger fan, I'm happy.Rejoice that the Chargers secondary will have to stop Cutler throwing the ball instead of Plummer? And their pass rush need...and their TE need...and their RB need...and...As a Charger fan you should be rejoicing that you just made up the ground you lost by taking Rivers over DeAngelo Hall.Even as a Charger fan I can see that Plummer is not the answer. Denver has done well manuvering into getting a franchise QB which they have been missing since Elway retired. Denver can address their WR need in the 2nd round.Broncos still have the 37th and 61st pick. Then they are quiet until the 119th.
As a Bronco fan, I think this was probably a good move, but I'm still concerned about WR...![]()

Very good. Made a lot of plays here. Concussions are a concern though, like others said.FSU coaches had to hold him out of practice, because he would either knock himself out or somebody else.Sims any good?ALL NOLES

If true, I guess that would signal that SF will draft a rb with their other 1st round pick.Should help his career....anyone can play behind that line. Also hearing that the Eagles got Walker....saw it in another thread...didn't see a link though.Denver just traded for Barlow.Cutler's a year or two away from making an impact. I am thinking Winston Justice for the Eagles....
Good question. Time will tell with Cutler but I think he will be a very good NFL QB. Knowing Plummer is not the answer is only part of the problem, replacing him and rebuilding the WRs is the only way to find out.Yeah, Plummer's not the answer, but is Cutler? The knocks on him sound a lot like the knock's on Plummer...Even as a Charger fan I can see that Plummer is not the answer. Don't think they need to go QB at 29...The teams between their 29 and their 35 pick:Not at #29 - hoping to get a RB - Williams/MaroneyGotta think that the Jets are thinking Kellen Clemons with their late 1st rounder. Is this confirmed anywhere?Denver just traded for Barlow.![]()
There's a touch of irony in pimping the guy all off-season and now having to root against him.Good question. Time will tell with Cutler but I think he will be a very good NFL QB. Steve Young might be at the 49ers locker room because he is supposed to be in Santa Clara to be on KNBR todayESPN has to win the "Over-Presentation Of a non-Athletic Show" award. I'm getting sick of these cutaways to the:
1. "NFL Live" set
2. the "Cold Pizza" set
3. Suzy Kolber somewhere in the bowreys of Radio City Music Hall set
4. Steve Young in a faux locker room of the 49er in some set somewhere in the universe
I'm sure there will be more before the day is done.
Terrible fans.Makes you wonder how Florida St wasn't in the National Championship hunt. Three players in the first 14 from the defense?
Great pick for the Eagles....Didn't think he would be there at that pick...No WRs taken yet...I figured two would be gone by the 16th picks (Eagles and Broncos possibilities)...Chicago might get a top WR if they all slide.Bunkley it is![]()

Surprised you haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet.DD > the reason, of course, was Jeff Bowden. And a freshman quarterback never helps.Terrible fans.Makes you wonder how Florida St wasn't in the National Championship hunt. Three players in the first 14 from the defense?

Tye Hill.Lots of options for the Rams here, could they go LB with Greenway? CB with Jimmy Williams? Could they go with the freak of nature with Lawson? Many options here and I'd be happy with any of the above, really.
Right position. Wrong player.Next three:
Bunkley
Jimmy Williams
Winston Justice
FSU's D was great lsst year. O stunk, though.Surprised you haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet.DD > the reason, of course, was Jeff Bowden. No trades yet of players. Sirius radio has said nothing. No truth to any of them.
LOL Don't tell my girlfriend that. She'll hunt you down... she graduated from there a few years back and is a HUGE fan...Having been subjected to watching FSU games this year, I must say that it is no surprise that FSU defensive guys are being drafted. That is the ONLY reason they made it to the BCS game and an ACC championship. Their offense was absolutely atrocious this year. They'd have been lucky to have gone .500 this year if it weren't for that great defense.Terrible fans.Makes you wonder how Florida St wasn't in the National Championship hunt. Three players in the first 14 from the defense?
Agreed. Pretty good for a new regime. The Rams got the guy at 15 that they wanted at 11. Nice job.
Good, I thought for sure they would have gone with the headcase with Williams. Looked like they were teasing Cromartie on ESPN, actually, which would have been fine. But Tye Hill is more of a "sure thing" and he's got the skills to make an impact right away. Good pick, IMO.Tye Hill.Lots of options for the Rams here, could they go LB with Greenway?
