2007 National Signing Day (1 Viewer)

Still shocked at McKnight. How are all these great RBs going to get a chance with the huge logjam at USC?
McKnight isn't the shock. Broderick Green is the shock. McKnight is the 2nd best player in the country according to Rivals. He should feel like he can step right in. Green is the 14th ranked Running Back by Rivals. Why would he not go to a place like PSU or OSU where he can step in easier? Weird.

Lendale White and Reggie Bush did fine!

Good year for Wisconsin.

According to Scouts they land the #1 overall OT in Oglesby, four top 20's, and 12 top 100's.

Not bad when you steal eight players from rival Big Ten States (3 OH, 2 MI, 2 MN, 1 IL), two FL players (non ranked 2 stars), and a top CB from TX.

Oh sure, but they already have 5 other 5 star RBs, IIRC. Just seems like an odd choice.

BTW - Those links are from the end of September, before most of their Senior seasons and any All-Star games. May want to check out Rivals instead.

They had an inteview with Green on CSTV and he said that he could see a Bush/White comparison, although he felt he was more versatile then LenDale.

Very true. The USC backfield is stacked: Stafon Johnson

Desmond Reed

C.J. Gable (I like this kid)

Emmanuel Moody

Michael Coleman

John Griffin

Hershel Dennis

and the new kids:

Broderick Green

Joe McKnight

Marc Tyler

A couple of those kids will either end up at a different position or end up at UNLV (where the banished Trojans go). By the way, you are missing another 5-star player that was actually moved from LB to RB - Allen Bradford.
