Ive been a die hard fan for 25 yrs. Take your bandwagon comment and shove it.Do you watch this team everyday? If so and you are a real Met fan, how the hell arent you at your wits end? They cant beat the Braves if their lives depended on it. Now they cant be the Phils when they actually need to. They tease you like they are going to rip off like 8-10 in a row, but it never happens. I know how good they should be, and thats why its frustrating as hell to watch them stumble constantly. Plus, they arent winning a thing in October with this bullpen.They lose 4 in a row.......What the hell is wrong with youHopefully you wont break both your ankles jumping off the bandwagon.So they lose 4 in a row and you jump ship?

Freaking Mets fans... Unbelievable - I was getting lunch in the deli yesterday and there's a guy with a Calvin Pissing on the Yankees shirt with a Red Sox hat and the guy is a Mets fan talking Baseball..He too was "Giving Up" on the season after the Bull Pen blew it the night before..Come on.... Ridiculous - Especially since they'll all be calling the talk shows in a few weeks brimming with Cocky confidence talking about how much better they are than the Yankees -JEEZ - ENJOY YOUR TEAM.... It doesn't always have to be a comparison....You have a good team in a GREAT situation ENJOY THE RIDE!!!!!!Fact is - GET TO THE PLAYOFFS - The Mets are there- The division Blows. They play in the minor leagues..... But, GET TO THE PLAYOFFS and anything can happen - Guys get Hot and become folk heros and hot teams go cold.... There's no reason why the Mets can't blow through the rest of the crappy National league and roll the dice Vs the Big Boys in the Series....Yet, Met fans are throwing in the towel all over the place while IN FIRST PLACE..... :(

If you are a true baseball fan and have watched playoff baseball for 25 years you would know that with the situation the Mets are in, they will make the playoffs and then anything can happen....And when/If it does, the whole thing will be one of the greatest personal sports happeninngs in your lifetime for the team you used to like and just remember - You ABANDONDED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But, NO. If /When it happens you'll be high fiving and celebrating as if you were a True Fan all along.BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Must have been the stinky bait.True fans stick with there team through thick and thin. If you're sick of them after 25 years then jump ship. I'm sure the Yankees will take you. But to answer your question - yes it is very frustrating right now.They score over 5 runs per game for 12 straight games and then get cold vs the Phillies vs future hall of Famers such as Jamie Moyer (who was fighting for his spot in the rotation because he have up 8 ER in each of his previous 2 outings), Adam eaton (just off the DL) and the immortal Durbin.
