Never much of one for following the letter of the rules so here goes

WK 1: Detroit - gotta go with my team early and get it out of the way

WK 2: Denver - Want to get this team in before Henry has a chance to let Shanny change his mind about the starter

WK 3: New England - Buffalo will not have put Edwards behind center yet but maybe this game will convince them

WK 4: Seattle - Hoping Seattle isn't outdone by the player it discarded

WK 5: Indianapolis - It just would be rude to leave out the old champs from an early selection

WK 6: San Diego - It would just be rude to leave out the new champs from an early selection

WK 7: New York Giants - I like Eli to quiet a few of his critics this season

WK 8: New Orleans - Seems like I'm turning into a 9'r hater without noticing it

WK 9: Cincinnati - Just in case Buffalo still hasn't begun to give Edwards more playing time this game should do it

WK 10: Chicago - Their decline will be evident but still gotta go with them somewhere

WK 11: Baltimore - Better squeeze them in before McNair gets hurt

WK 12: Dallas -Don't mean I have to like it

WK 13: Houston - Not so much Green or Schaub but the fact that they now actually appear to have a 2n WR

WK 14: Minnesota - Time for the QB to settle in and if not Peterson may have to pull this one out for me

WK 15: Pittsburgh - Even if Big Ben turns in a pocket watch season I'm hoping the running game will carry them this week

WK 16: Oakland - many of the prior teams picked BECAUSE they were playing Oak so thought I would take a chance

WK 17: Philadelphia - I traded for McNabb so I better show some confidence in him

When is the deadline for a weekly selection? Simple answer would be kick-off of first game each week. 2nd question. May we change our selection, and if so how do you prefer we do so (new entry or edit our original entry)?

I will edit the first posting tio include this info. #1 Reply - Deadline is the team's kickoff.#2 Reply - Adjust your selection by posting a new 'correction' note.

Only the week 01 selection is valid, This a is a weekly contest and positive weekly activity is rewarded. TC

Week One: Pittsburg Steelers!

two birds with one stone:

1) gotta pick a team playing a coach who decides things via coinfilp

2) and getting the team outta they way that cost me a huge survivor pool last year when i picked them over Oakland, steel curtain gave up like 90 yds TOTAL offense and Ben decided to throw two TD passes to the other team so they would still lose
