2008 BUY - SELL - HOLD - DUMP (1 Viewer)

I'm still putting things together. Interested in hearing what others have to say after week 2. I know we've still got a few games but let's get it started.

buy Addai. He'd be at the top of my list from a disgruntled owner.
The value is there but the 50-75 yards and the td every 3-4 weeks is too. A RB2 sure, but right now, can you get him for that?
the's not going to play a top defense every week, his qb and line will get bettter. They've had a slow start but will be a prolific offense in a few more weeks. Thus the buy now.

I'm selling Holt after today. His TD was a fluke but the stat line was good enough to bring hope.

Also teetering on putting Cotchery on the blocks. Mainly due to the amount of looks he has been getting per week. Only had 5 week 1 and couldn't have had that many today.

Addai and LT might be buy-low (lower than they should be) guys.

Rivers is a sell high - or is he? With RB issues and guys like Sproles being better dump-off catch n runners than pure RBs, maybe not-?

I'd actually look to buy Rivers. The Chargers defense looks terrible and they'll have to score points each week.

I love this guy to the extreme. But I'm thinking of selling McFadden high. I know Fargas is hurt, that just adds to the value. But the reason for me wanting to sell is because the Raiders are SO terrible and their passing game is horrid.

I might look to buy on McGahee this week. His value is pretty low right now and already has his bye week out of the way...

I don't think Rivers is a sell-high right now. I think he is for real. He's only in his 3rd year starting and looks more comfortable than ever which is amazing since he's coming off a torn ACL. He looks like he could be another Matt Hasselbeck to me.

Addai is a great buy low as is Harrison in my opinion. Chris Perry might be a good buy-low only because he's a full-time back and there aren't many of them, yet he's valued as a borderline RB3 at best.

A deep sleeper type to me is Ronald Curry, he had no catches this week but had several targets monday night when Oakland was losing(as they usually will be) and just missed a couple big plays in that game. I think he's by far Oakland's #1 WR(for whatever that's worth) and will only improve as Russell does. Plus, he's likely gettable for peanuts. I'd take him over any of the 49ers, Dolphins or Jaguars guys.

Russell is awful. Curry put up a goose egg against the rotten chiefs. Stay clear of all Raiders WRs. I cut curry the minute they announced Russell's name at the draft.

Sell all Bengals.

Buy PManning if his owner is worried.

I'd buy Santonio Holmes as well. The weather might damper his numbers tonight making him a good candidate after 2 slow weeks.

buy Santana Moss. He won't put up numbers like he did today every week, but he is 100% healthy, and its clear Zorn is trying to make the skins a vertical passing team. Just the fact that he threw to him on 4th and short is telling. Gibbs would have NEVER done that.

I'm an Addai owner, and even though I KNOW he just faced what are likely to be his two most difficult games of the year, I would probably sell him a little lower than his true value right now.He is definitely NOT a "dump" player, but now is a great time to make a move for him.

Makes sense to sell Holt right now (man that O-Line looks unbelievably bad), but why sell Cotchery? You are certainly selling him at his lowest value point - you are better off waiting for him to face an easier pass D.

Steven Jackson has to be at an all time low right now. The question is even at a low value do you want the guy.

Especially if the owner is 0-2, the perfect time to swoop in.

Now is the absolute worst time to buy Moss, imo. His stock is very high right now.

Moss is now due for two or three weeks of near invisibility before busting out again . . .Might be a good time to cash in on Aaron Rodgers - not because I think he's done, but because he may not have any higher value for your squad than right now. You probably have a decent QB1 because you likely did not take him as your starter. but you might land a starter at another spot for him.

It was known going into the season that Addai had a tough first 4 games on the season AND that Peyton wasn't totally healthy AND the the line was banged up. Grab him if you believe all these things are true. I'm an Addai owner and I am holding. Rhodes got nothing today.

Rogers schedule looks so good though. He could have some monster games all season long.

 They didn't look like a vertical passing team last week.

Ryan Grant - Does anyone feel like he is a good buy low candidate?
I do. Although I don't think he's low, more like a buy. One of my biggest concerns heading into the season was Rodgers and so far he's proven me wrong. Grant hasn't blown up yet but they have a good offense and he'll get his chances.

Buy - S JAx - schedule gets much easier...
??@SEA BUF BYE @WAS DAL @NE
hes the one selling
look at the playoff push starting week 9 - besides Chi lots of good matchups IMO. 9 vs Cardinals 10 at Jets 11 at 49ers 12 vs Bears 13 vs Dolphins 14 at Cardinals 15 vs Seahawks 16 vs 49ers
That's actually one of the reasons I drafted him - the playoff push. I also anticipated some early season iffy-ness due to the holdout. Now, that said, this Rams offensive line looks unbeLIEVABLY bad. I am not sure an easy schedule will do more than bring SJax up to the level of a borderline RB1. And a borderline RB1 was not what I drafted.

What about Boldin (sell high), Rosenhaus wants to get him traded.
Keep Boldin for however long you think Warner will remain the QB.
Do you think Fitz will outperform Boldin this year? Just curious.
Desnt matter to me. I think Boldin will have 1300 minimum as his pace if Warner is at QB. And with his start, it could prove to be even better. Fitz doesnt hurt Boldin with Warner out there.
