Was just looking over the #s for TEs so far in 2009 and as far as I can tell the number of legitimate FF starters is at an all-time high. As of today there are 19 TEs scoring 10+ ppg in my 1.5 TE PPR leagues, and even in my 1.0 TE PPR leagues there are 15.
Is this a partial-year fluke? Or does it represent some sort of more fundamental change in NFL offenses and how defenses are playing the pass? The answer matters a lot in dynasty leagues.
Should dynasty players be looking to move the brand name guys now and trust that the 2nd tier guys will continue to produce? Hold onto the depth, and enjoy the flexibility? Sell the overperforming players now, while their value is high? What's the right strategy for handling the current surplus of TEs?
