Cazorla, Vlaar and Cameron are in the database and are under the control of their owners. The others will need to be replaced with eligible players before the game week rosters are locked in. The replacement players can be used by any team throughout the season.The Nuri Sahin deal may happen but he has to be in the FPL database before the season starts.

I think even if you transfer someone off your roster in week 1, he is still your protected player for the whole season. If you spot an ineligible player in an opposing lineup, just post it here. Hopefully it won't happen much. The only problems last year were caused by the week 1 website fiasco and the controversial Sessegnon accent grave (twice).Any points accumulated by the illegal player are deducted from the game week score and the team must burn a transfer to drop the player in the following week.

I posted the 4-way split as the default unless there was majority around the 3-way. So far, only Sebowski has expressed preference for the bigger payouts. I'm going to leave this one open for now. I don't see how game week 1 strategy could possibly be different depending on whether 4th place gets paid in May.

I think it is a few hours before kickoff it locks. If you look on the transfer time it will list the exact time for week 2. I'm not worried about it. I've done fantasy for quite a few years and understand there's variability to scoring. Still, at the end of the year, you can see total points and averages/week. Since I can't get into last year's scores and I haven't done soccer fantasy, I was just curious with this setup where the scores range as I have absolutely NO clue on it. Kinda funny that I can't get even a roundabout answer to this seemingly simple question but I guess I'll just get an idea for myself after a few weeks. Thanks anyway?
