2012 Devy Draft Prospects (1 Viewer)

I see a lot on the forums about the rookie draft, but not about the developmental draft for leagues that incorporate that aspect as well. Here are the top college players by year/position. I only did Juniors/Seniors because I know a lot of leagues only allow for draft eligible players to be picked the prior year. Seniors are in bold, juniors are not. Let's discuss...

Top Seniors / Top Juniors

QB

1. M. Barkley (USC) / T. Bray (TENN)

2. L. Jones (OU) / A. Murray (UGA)

3. T. Wilson (ARK) / C. Pachall (TCU)

4. G. Smith (WVA) / L. Thomas (VA TECH)

5. E. Manuel (FSU) / B. Renner (UNC)

RB

1. M. Ball (WIS) / M. Lattimore (SCAR)

2. R. Graham (PIT) / M. Dyer (ARK ST) - Played at Auburn prior to transfer.

3. C. Michael (TA&M) / J. Randle (OK ST)

4. D. Robinson (MICH) / E. Lacy (BAMA)

5. A. Ellington (CLEM) / M. Coker (SB) - Played at Iowa prior to transfer.

WR

1. C. Hamilton (ARK) / R. Woods (USC)

2. T. Williams (BAY) / K. Allen (CAL)

3. T. King (UGA) / K. Stills (OU)

4. T. Austin (WVA) / M. Wilson (WASH ST)

5. E. Blake (AUB) / D. Rogers (UT)

TE

1. J. Fauria (UCLA) / T. Eifert (ND)

2. P. Lutzenkirchen (AUB) / Z. Ertz (STAN)

3. J. Stoneburner (OSU) / L. Toilolo (STAN)

4. M. Williams (BAMA) / D. Sims (MICH ST)

5. R. Griffin (UCONN) / J. Pedersen (WIS)

Right off the bat, I really like the top Junior RBs/WRs. The first 6 picks or so look to be juniors, depending where Ball goes...

I think the bold is for the seniors not that Ball is better than Lattimore and I not convinced that Dyer is better than Graham...........at least not yet.ETA: I have two Devy Picks in this year's draft and they are ranked as such:

1. Lattimore

2. Woods

3. Allen

4. Graham/Dyer

5. King

6. Lacy

7. Stills

Any of the two will be fine with me.

I see that now, thanks.

A lot of top players coming off injury. How do you guys look at that in terms of value? Lattimore, K. Davis, C. Michael, and Graham all coming off serious leg injuries. I have still seen Lattimore go #1 in some dev drafts...

Davis has a history of injuries. I drafted him last year and traded him for Luck. I need a QB and the other owner need rb depth. I'm still a believer in Lattimore my only concern is he's taking a serious beating because that nuckle-head of a coach is running him to the ground.............Gezzus!!!!! It didn't surprise me one bit when he got injured.

King is a guy I want to research more. I like your list. You are higher on Graham and Lacy than what I have seen. I'm not crazy about Stills but I seem to be in the minority there...

Graham's reputation will begin to pickup steam as next year unfolds. He was the running back that nearly put Dion Lewis on the bench. He cut into Lewis's production for a reason last year. He does everything you need from a rb. If he had not gotten hurt he'd be higher on my list, the kid can play. I've seen Lacy play and I love what I've seen but I'm wondering how much of his production is due to the offensive line.As the season went along Stills began to grow on me. I watched the OU games to analyze Bryoles but Stills kept getting my attention.
