We can discuss who you think has won or lost based on Free Agency as well as trades and team signings.

Winners:

Meachem

Cutler

Marshall

Freeman

Vincent Jackson

Colston

Calvin

Stafford

Losers:

Mike Williams

Garcon

Jason Campbell

I think Garcon is a winner. He's going to have an elite young QB with a good deep ball throwing to him.

Fans, this offseason is already very exciting.

Tampa offense, especially if they get nicks. That online sucks

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bucs have agreed to terms with LG Carl Nicks on a five-year, $47.5 million contract. The deal includes $31 million guaranteed, topping Logan Mankins as the highest-paid guard in both annual pay and up-front money. The Bucs have landed arguably the two biggest prizes of the first 16 hours of free agency in Nicks and Vincent Jackson, following through on a promise to surround Josh Freeman with premier talent. Arguably the best guard in the NFL, Nicks will slot in opposite RG Davin Joseph, giving the Bucs an imposing frontline. As of Tuesday night, the Saints were "making a push" to sign Ben Grubbs as Nicks' replacement.

Agree with all of these except VJax. How does getting Freeman to throw him the ball instead of Rivers improve his production? He was already the WR1 in SD so being the WR1 in Tampa isn't going to improve his production. At best he is a "hold steady," but it seems to me that his fantasy production is more likely to go down than up with the change in teams.

A couple of bench guys on one of my teams that are losers are Wash WRs Santana Moss and Jabar Gaffney.

Not huge names for a fantasy football team but they certainly look less valuable now.

If Miami does not add a WR then someone in Miami should gain: Bess/Gates/Hartline?

Jax could have signed him. other than that, he's a FA loser.

Loser: Kellen Winslow. He'll not be 2nd fiddle, maybe not even 3rd. He'll be a disgruntled dude that is going to dissappear in that offense, and especially if the Bucs draft Richardson.

Winner: all Miami skill positions if and when Manning announces his intention to sign with the Phins. They got rid of Marshall to clear the way.

I mentioned this in the Colston thread, but I think Jimmy Graham is a winner - or at least not a loser - with Colston sticking around. Plus with Meachem out of the picture, that's one fewer mouth for Brees to feed (although Arrington is a wildcard).

No Colston would have meant even more focus on Graham, and any replacement would have not have garnered as much attention as Colston does.

The guy hasn't even been drafted and he's already elite?
Yeah, I can't argee that going to a place with a rookie QB is a good thing for his fantasy stats. Especially one that also added 2 other WR's and had a decent few on the roster already. That's a lot of mouths to feed and probably only 3,400~3,600 worth of yards to divy up. Maybe 2 years from now once RG3 gets some experience.Certainly worse or better places he could have landed so at best I'd say it's a wash.

Martellus Bennett is a winner if he signs with the Giants. He'd be hard pressed not to improve on his numbers from last year.

IMO, Manning will end up in Tennessee. If he signed with the Titans, he could become governor when he's done playing. He already is a demi-god after going to school there.

Winner, whoever is the starting TB RB. They signed arguably the best G in football and immensely upgraded their passing attack. Both should greatly help the TB running game.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner is Adrian Arrington and as soon as PM signs in Denver add Eric Decker to that list.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner is Adrian Arrington
Can you elaborate on why you feel this way? Multiple people keep bringing up Arrington, but why? He's potentially replacing a more talented Meachem who himself went for just 40-620-6 last year in what was the most prolific passing offense in NFL history. Isn't Arrington at best the 5th option in the passing game in 2012 behind Graham, Colston, Sproles, and Moore, with the potential to split targets with Henderson and/or whomever else the Saints bring in via free agency or the draft? I guess if you consider going from fantasy irrelevancy to rosterable, then Arrington is a fantasy winner. I just fail to see him putting up statistics that make him worthy of seeing a fantasy lineup. But maybe I'm not thinking this through correctly.

We already know what Devery Henderson is and I suspect New Orleans does too. Arrington is still young (26) and showed promise last year in the preseason. He's had some injuries, but showed big play ability last year in the preseason. I expect a bump in playing time in 2012. That's why I said Arrington.

Arrington's career receptions are 9 and he turns 27 next year. With Graham, Colston, Moore and Sproles getting their share, what is left for the WR3 and WR4 for NO is about 60 passes (meachem 61 last year, henderson 50... year before 66 and 59).

Having owned Meachem and Henderson over the past few years as stop gap fliers, I was never confident to put them in my line up. I don't think anyone will feel good about starting the 5th option in the NO (or any team's) passing game.

Not really...they are just going to suck even more. And I'm a Phins fan.

With Marshall gone Bess will again be a PPR value. He caught 80 balls in 2010 and was WR23 (PPR). I think he heads back to top-30 status again.

IMO so far....

Winners:

Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall (reunited)

Josh Freeman (gets a big upgrade at receiver and o-line)

Redskins QB (gets a big upgrade at receiver)

Matt Stafford (will have CJ to throw to his entire career)

Calvin Johnson (big $$$$$ to stay and catch passes from Stafford for his entire career)

Marques Colston (gets to stay as the #1 target of Brees)

Martellus Bennett (should start in a good offense with Eli)

Not Great or Bad:

Philip Rivers

Robert Meachem

Pierre Garcon

Josh Morgan

Losers:

Drew Brees (loses a receiving weapon and o-line)

Arian Foster (may lose RT and C)

Vincent Jackson (downgrade at QB from Rivers to Freeman)

Mike Williams and Arrelius Benn (dropped down the depth chart with VJax on-board)

Bears WRs not named Brandon Marshall (just lost 150+ targets)

Santana Moss (lost his starting job and likely will lose his $7mil salary this year)

Whoever the Dolphins QB is going to be (losing Marshall and getting no free agent help at receiver)

Mike Wallace has to be listed as a loser as well. Seeing guys like Garcon, Robinson and Colston getting 7M/yr+ must sting.

Jamaal Charles a big loser with the Hillis signing.

You had to figure they were going to bring a bruiser in to complement him, but the fact that Hillis is also good out of the backfield will cut into Charles' touches even more IMO.

Dez - Winner with Robinson leaving town

Hillis - Mild winner. Will split with Charles but thats not all bad.

Richardson is going to be a beast if TB drafts him.

Why is Mike Williams a loser? He should see single coverage all day long now, no? Not like VJax is a target hog, he's a 60-70 catch type of guy because he does his damage down the field

I see Hillis and J Charles both as losers compared to what their owners were hoping for. Pretty clear to me that whatever form of RBBC they end up with will be worse than each being featured somewhere separately.
