2012 Offseason Dynasty Trades (2 Viewers)

12 Team PPR, start 2RB/2WR/TE and can flex any.I'm not involved.Team A Gave:A RogdersTeam B Gave:CutlerSprolesQuizzunreal.
That's crazy.
Maybe, but we don't know the context of the league and the owner's opinions on these players and that is the problem I see with most of the cricism I see of trades here.Yes, this looks bad at first blush. But Cutler IMO is criminally undervalued in most rankings. Sproles was the #6 RB in my PPR league last year. Jacquizz I see have seen on many undervallued target lists. I don't think I would do this trade if I were the Rodgers owner, but without knowing that team's current roster and where the owner is coming from regarding the players acquired, it may not be as crazy as some here think.
i pride myself on being able to see both sides to a trade (or an argument), but can't in this one. i am in this league. the team that traded Rodgers took over an OK team (Rodgers & Julio Jones being the best talent) and had the 1.06 and 1.09, which turned into RG3 and Fleener. So he decides to trade his best "chip" for a back up FF QB, a 29 year old RB and a lottery ticket in Quiz. I get rebuilding. I get changing the team to get "your" players. But to take a Top 6 Dynasty player and just get that package back is just awful.
:goodposting:

16 team PPR league

I traded: Jonathan Stewart, Julio Jones

I received: Arian Foster, 1.04

Other team is weak at WR and strong at RB with McFadden, Ray Rice, and Beanie Wells.

10TEAM DYNASTY PPR w/ KR yardage.

Start 2QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1W/T, 2 W/R, K, DEF.

2012 #8 pick was traded for:

2013 1st and 2nd rounder.

Pretty damn fair. One of the few balanced trades with studs on both sides in this thread that I've actively noticed.

It's not overly lopsided like a lot in this thread, but I agree that the Foster side is the clear winner.Foster>Julio Julio's a top 15 type guy overall, but Foster's easily top 5, with a good case for #1 overall.1.04>Stewart I suspect that the Stewart FA next offseason will disappoint owners just like the Deangelo Williams FA did. He wants to stay in Carolina. And 1.04 is a great spot to be. Guaranteed either Martin, Luck or RGIII (or Wilson/Blackmon if you prefer), all of whom I'd take over Stewart and all of whom are going ahead of Stewart in most startups. (Plus QBs are worth more in 16 teamer.)

12 Team PPR

Team A Gave - Deangelo Williams

Team B Gave - Two 2013 2nd rounders, Marcedes Lewis

Agreed. Foster is way ahead of Stewart in current value. Julio Jones is only slightly greater than 1.4 value.

I would take Julio over any rookie this year.

Someone seriously said that Julio is only slightly greater than 1.4 in value? Wow.
Yes....I said that. Trent Richardson, Doug Martin....(1.1, 1.2)I would say many would rather have them. That leaves one spot. RGIII (16 team remember), Michael Floyd, Justin Blackmon could all be considered close in value. We have 1 year from Julio....none from the others. How can you really say Julio is better than any of these guys in dynasty. Especially when you're giving up Foster for Stewart to find out.

Trent Richardson is the only rookie this year I can even see an argument for, vs. Julio. Unless its a 2QB league. And even then...

10 team non PPR

Harlem gave up:

Year 2012 Draft Pick 1.07

Charleston gave up:

Bradford, Sam STL QB

Smith, Kevin DET RB

I can't even see the argument for Martin, Floyd, or Blackmon over Julio. I could see an argument for luck or rg3, but still don't think it's close

2 QB league Luck and RGIII have as much value as Julio IMO. But in any other league Julio is far more valuable than the 1.04, though I do think Foster/Stewart evens it out pretty nicely, so fair deal IMO.

Zealots Trade

Team A gave up:

Cribbs, Josh CLE WR

Holmes, Santonio NYJ WR

Year 2013 Round 3 Draft Pick

Year 2013 Round 5 Draft Pick

Team B gave up:

Rudolph, Kyle MIN TE

Kuechly, Luke CAR LB

Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick

Honestly, I wouldn't mind having the Julio side, but I like my WRs in dynasty.
Me too. Plus, I still wouldn't be surprised to see Stewart having a better three or four years than Foster. I know everyone thinks Foster is the best, but I think Stewart will be a top 3 RB if he ever gets into the right situation. And JJ will be a stud for the next 10 years. Foster will be lucky to be a top stud for three more.

12 Team PPR

Team A gave up:

Doug Martin

Team B gave up:

Ryan Williams

Lamar Miller

(2) 2013 1st Round Picks (Look to be Mid - Late)

Zealots TradeTeam A gave up:Cribbs, Josh CLE WRHolmes, Santonio NYJ WRYear 2013 Round 3 Draft PickYear 2013 Round 5 Draft PickTeam B gave up:Rudolph, Kyle MIN TEKuechly, Luke CAR LBYear 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick
Steal for team A. 3 pieces of value for 1 major headache
Team A is strong at WR, Team B very weak there.
Trading for Cribbs and Holmes at WR isn't making him any less weak at the position. Its not even a bandaid. Maybe Holmes, but its risky.

.25PPR + Return Yards

Trade 1

I gave

Olsen + 2012 3.02

For

Lynch + J. Ford

Trade 2

I gave

Lynch + Decker

For

Bradshaw + Harvin

Trade 3

I gave

SJax

for

S. Smith (CAR)

Year 2012 Draft Pick 5.04

Year 2012 Draft Pick 3.01

Year 2012 Draft Pick 4.05

Im trying to snag dez bryant in a league. Whats he going for lately?
Posted a Dez trade a page or two back where I overpaid for him, hold on...he's very expensive right now in many leagues with all the good press.Edit: Guess I never posted it!Basically it was:Gave:BoweAustin2014 1stGot:DezWayneI know I overpaid. I know either one of the WR's I gave up, or both, could conceivably outscore Dez this year and for years after if things don't go as planned. I don't care, I got my guy. I've got Dez as a top-5 dynasty WR and think he's going to be a stud, as immature as he's been as a pro in the past. I'm sure he's going for cheaper than this in some leagues, but its also probably that whoever owns Dez in your league by now is probably another owner with a man-crush on him. :)

You're all over DLF with your trade rapes as well. We get it. You play in a league(s?) with huge idiots. GIANT idiots. Your trades are not a representation of normal value in dynasty leagues. They are helping no one in this thread or on DLF.
