How do you value your 2013 draft picks?

Do you try and use them to trade up in 2012 rookie draft?

This is moreso a question of how you handle your next year rookie picks, not necessarily 2013, but in any year looking at using next years picks as currency for trades.

Do you never trade your next year picks?

Just interested in peoples strategies when it comes to draft picks.

I think it really depends on the makeup of the team. If you are solid and in win now mode the next year pick might help you get a player to put you over the top and might not be totally needed by you to restock your team. If you are rebuilding you should try to horde as many of next years picks you can get. The value is tough as in leagues I am in now some value as gold while others easily throw them in to get a deal done.

This is the worse time to sell them and best time to get them. Usually I like to sell a 2nd for one or get one back for moving down the 1st
