Single FWD formations will be permitted

No restrictions on maximum number of players from any single EPL club (unlike FPL game)

No restrictions on positional composition of bench slots (unlike FPL game) but you must be able to field a legal starting lineup.

I think Sanchez hurts Poldi because I think he'll take up a lot of central positions. So will Ozil, even if he starts as a flank player.

Podolski appears to be a great guy. His teammates love him. He's a goofy dude, and has the most fun on Twitter. But I think its very hard to accommodate his game without stepping on other, more talented, players.

But I've been wrong before. Part of me thinks Poldi would be better served as an inverted winger on the right, where he can come in onto that cannon of a left foot. Arsene has never really cottoned to inverting his wingers, though.

I think Giroud and Sanchez are both better finishers.I do like the idea of putting him on the right when he does get on the field though.

Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. My goal is to get exciting players that are fun to watch. I'm probably a few years too early on a few of them, but in a season in which my primary goal is to learn the EPL, how it works, and grow in my undying love for Liverpool, I'm happy with my draft.

While first-timers might be more likely to draft based on flash rather than unsexy criteria like a record of getting starts for a good team, the learning curve is pretty gentle. Like most fantasy sports, eventually everybody is relying on many of the same opinions.
