I will change the deadline from the first game of the gameweek to before the start of each game.I am going to leave the interval at one hour though in order to be fair to West Coast people who would rather sleep in than check Twitter Saturdays at 4AM. I'm also probably going to move the waivers processing time forward by three hours on Thursday night to be fair to East Coast teams that want to add FAs without affecting their waivers position.

I would not call it a "big" advantage - I'll give you that for the early game on saturdays, it is an advantage for east-coasters, but for most games, its a wash - you can get up by 7:00 to make changes for most of the games on Saturday (basically the same time the east coasters would have to get up to make changes to the early game)

I don't remember when the Sunday games were scheduled (which is odd considering Spurs played most of their games on Sundays... )

I agree here. First, the west-coasters will likely not even have a player in the early game half the time (most rosters are composed of players on 8-10 teams). Even if they do, it's very likely not a guy that is some kind of GTD. If it is, and it really matters that much, then it's worth getting up and fixing it, IMO. I mean, even for EST and CST, I still would have to get up by 6am to make a change if I really wanted to (7am for EST), so it's not as if it's THAT easy for us either.

If anything, the time should be shortened to actually give a West Coaster even a bit more time to check if they really want to and be done with it. I think it should be 30 min or less.

This was such a big complaint for virtually every owner (lack of autosubs) and this is such an easy fix. Even if you aren't that crazy about it, is it really THAT much of an issue with a league like this that it's worth nixing so that we go back to complaining about not being able to actually have our players playing?

I'd be willing to allow any West Coast guy an automatic sub if it truly affects him and give him the highest points from the bench to allow the rest of us the chance to actually let this be done the right way. If someone on the WC has an issue about a guy they couldn't change out in the early game because it was too early for them to check, I'd be fine with Eephus going in and making a manual change after the fact. My guess is that it might happen a total of 5 times all year.

I seriously doubt that we are going to see more than a few line-up changes based on the early games each week, so I think the impact is minimal.
