I was under the impression that Eephus had made his decision, so I'm not sure why we're voting. Besides, I'm pretty sure me and gian aren't of one mind about this.

I think the one hour before each game is a reasonable compromise since there's an obvious lack of consensus.

In order to preserve Sinn Fein's and Gianmarco's beauty sleep, weekly waivers will now be processed Thursdays at 6PM EST. This should be fair for everybody and has the added benefit of allowing dropped players to clear waivers in time to be added to other teams before the weekend.

I picked 6PM because the Thursday Europa League games should be finished by then. We could move it up to 4PM Thursday if anybody really cares.

I think waivers will run on Thursday but the Fantrax commissioner interface is baffling. I saved the settings from last year but it appears they added some new options that are equally poorly defined.

I've had to input the correct waiver order for the third time. If for some reason, they don't run as expected on Thursday night or there's other unexplained snafu, I'll tee them up for Friday.

I didn't bother with placeholders this year. You can add players w/out dropping as long as you don't go past 17. Just post in this thread which spec pick you want to give up rights to.

It's what we've done at least for the past two years. There are usually a bunch of teams clustered around .500; paying off 4th (out of 14) keeps more teams in contention during the run-in.
