Would be nice if we had the same compassion for other's that were bombed, as a result of our our actions none the less. http://nader.org/2014/04/17/boston-baghdad/

2 days after the Bostom Bombing, 15 people were killed and 200 injured in a fertilizer plant explosion in Texas, not because of 2 psychotic killers but our inability to regulate industry. Something the media should have covered but didn't. The whole thing reminds me of the Joker's speech to Harvey Dent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8F_bO5zQXk

What type of thoughts are you looking for?
An intelligent one. One that would change my mind on the national significance of the marathon being run tomorrow. I don't think there is national significance - but it will be dominate CNN tomorrow. In between the coverage of the Malaysian airplane.
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that any intelligent response will be over your head

Perhaps you should start by giving your definition of "national significance."
