2014 PGA Championship - Valhalla (1 Viewer)

This is crazy. I've been flipping channels between this match and the Tigers-Jays game for the last six hours! The baseball game's still tied in the 18th. I keep flipping just in time to see great plays in both contests.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't find it really entertaining when a guy hits a perfect shot but the ball rolls 200 feet off the green. Obviously these conditions are too extreme the other way, but I like it better than the insanely difficult setups. It's a lot more fun IMO when they can be aggressive as opposed to terrified to make a slight mistake.

Where are the posters who said that weekend golf without Tiger meant boring golf and that they wouldn't watch? OWN must be getting a lot of viewing today from those guys

Best two days of golf I've watched in a long time.

Don't care who wins, just make it tonight.

Rickie denied casual water relief.

What's the rule there? If you put your foot down and water comes up in the sides of your shoe you get a lift/clean/place?

You get to move it where there is no "standing water" and drop it

And you can clean your ball while doing it which is the important thing

You're 100% sure that is correct?
Casual water must be identifiable before or after a player has taken his stance. Ground that is merely wet, spongy, mushy or muddy is not casual water. There must be an accumulation of water above ground that is visible. (If a player takes his stance where water is not visible, but doing so causes water to push up onto the surface where it is now visible, that does qualify as casual water.)

I thought I had see other interpretations but maybe that was a local rule thing.
