2015 All-Star Ballot Updates (1 Viewer)

i've never voted for an all-star game before, but i just went on and voted 35 times for an all-royals and all-cubs starting lineups. go cubs!

LOL @ anyone thinking the Royals actually have more fans voting and it isn't cheating the system. That said, if I was a fan of an NL team, why not vote for all Royals at this point, would much rather face a team with Infante/Moustakas/Rios/Gordon than one with Altuve/Donaldson/Jones/Bautista in a game that could determine my team getting home field advantage in the world series.

Next season the blogs of AL teams should band together when the ballot is released and pick the worst nominated player at every position in the NL, hack the system to vote 35,000 times each and vote them in (and vice versa).

MLB says they have disallowed somewhere between 60 and 65 million All-Star ballots cast, suspecting fraud.

Users of the MLB.com All-Star ballot are reporting the Captcha code doesn't appear on screen when an all-Royals ballot is submitted, preventing such a vote from being officially cast. Swapping out a Royal at any position for any player from a different team solves the blank Captcha problem.

I don't even understand what this means. Is the second part MLB's response to prevent all-Royals ballots? Do we know what the fraud is that is alleged?

That is not a true statement. I just setup all Royals for AL and the Captcha code is there for me to enter.

Curious about that Captcha report and larch disputing it... I set up a fresh all-Royals ballot with a different email. The Captcha thing seemed to work the first 35 times I voted All-Royals in the AL, but it got a little screwy after that.

Pete Abraham @PeteAbe

Meanwhile its 7-0 #RedSox after a bases-clearing double by Bogaerts. KC fans respond by voting 2 million times for Alcides Escobar.

lol
I was at the K Friday night. Lots of VoteRoyal themed signs and shirts. One fan with a "Vote Between Innings" sign got a lot of air time.In my section, there was a group that responded to almost every positive Royals play with "That's why he's an All-Star!" and almost every negative play with "why is he an All-Star?"

The NL is going to be so confused with so many different teams (FIVE!!) in the starting lineup. Playing mostly together as a team for 3 months should really help out the AL squad.

Love it how I've got to watch so dang many underserving players in the all start game for years from big market teams. But once the Royals get in on the act NOW its a problem and must be dealt with.

Because of course it is.

It's always been a problem when it is that many from one team. Look up the 1957 All-Star Game voting, when seven Reds were elected to start. MLB overrode the fans' vote, and then stopped fan voting until 1970.

VoteMoose and VoteTsunami joined forces in VoteMo. Mike Moustakas wins the AL Final Vote, and Catlos Martinez passed both Kershaw and Cueto to win the NL Final Vote.
