We really do need to examine another waiver wire procedure. First come first serve is dumb and really not fair. The entire league should have a shot at Kimbell's replacement, not just the guy with the fastest twitter feed and availability to break free from Easter dinner. We are paying a lot of money to play...current system is BS. Football has an order to free agency. So should this league.

Most leagues haven't had their first FAAB bidding yet. It would be nothing to change it. Who is against this? The guy who has his google alert set to "closer traded/dies" and immediately fires the app up on his phone? We can do better.

I say leave it, seems like the best way to continue the chaos and hilarity this league usually produces. All the people (me included) who make dumb FCFS moves, end up losing good players a lot of the time. I scooped up Kluber in Uber last year, and dropped Doolittle in Cake.

This is true too. I do enjoy seeing cos make hundreds of moves and run billy adding the entire awful Braves bullpen for some reason.

Doesn't limit moves, you just have transactions once or twice a week with a budget. It does reduce the number of moves but I think it also levels the playing field for the less astute owners. I like it in my home league, but it seems more appropriate in keepers/dynasty formats. For redrafts, meh.

ETA: But for this league if it creates more chaos and makes people angry, we should probably do it.

Look, this is a 14 team league with roster sizes close to 30. If there is a next-in-line closer sitting out there as a free agent, then pick him up now, or quit your #####ing. I'm not saying this because I scour the news all day. I can't even access the league from work any more. But I really do not want to do anything that prevents daily transactions.

There isn't much correlation anyway. Cos is notorious for this. There have been years when GM/cos made about 4000 transactions and still finished in the bottom third.
