Marcus Smart playing outside his mind right now and this is now anyone's game tied 95-95 with 5:36 left.  Cavs have blown a 21 point 2nd half lead.

Cavs fans should be worried about that.  If they give GS that many open 3s, they will get mauled.
I don't think they will have that problem. They are playing a team that they just blew out by 30, their best player is out, they are at home, and haven't lost yet in the playoffs. I think 99.9 percent of people in this world would have a small let down, especially after how hot they started out game 3.

I'm just saying if the Cavs lose this (due to coasting or not), they lose a couple days of rest to GS. And the fact they can fake themselves out this much that they're even in a close game this late without IT, to me really distances the Dubs as favorites for the title.
The stats for LeBron when he gets extended rest are very scary.  The longer this series goes, the better.

Boston was embarrassed the first two games and are without their best player, I don't really care if the Cavs aren't as locked in, just glad to see the Celtics showing some life. They are still going to get swept but as a fan I'm proud of their effort this game. Couldn't say that in either game in Boston.
Yeah they are completely outmatched and won't win this series, but they could have easily packed it in this series down as many points as they were.  So many teams said #### this and quit this year.

I like Crowder, but if the Celtics want to win this game they would be wise to tell him to stop shooting.

LeBron not himself tonight for some reason.
He never got into the scoring flow.  He didn't have to do much in the first half (5 shot attempts), because everyone else was scoring, and then the momentum flipped once they let the foot off the gas.  Momentum in sports is a funny thing.

imagine if Ainge wasn't so scared to make a move and the Celtics had even average rebounding and defense in the paint....

and now, back to betting Cleveland next game...

the numbers today i think were Cavs to sweep -1000.  Yikes for anybody who bet that this last few days

I just threw up.............

I can't believe that ball bounced in I thought for sure was going out.

Note to self: Don't complain about lack of competitive games when my team is on the right side of the blowouts.

Simply defies logic Cavs win by 44 on road and then at home lose with Thomas not even playing.  As a Cavs fan this one hurts I wanted to be 12-0 since GS looks like they will be 12-0.  Painful.

Here the opening line vig free win probabilities from Pinnacle

Game 5: Cleveland: 34.3% GS: 65.7% (this opened before Draymond was suspended)

Game 6: Cleveland: 54.8% GS: 45.2%

Game 7: Cleveland: 36.7% GS: 63.3%

Cleveland had a 12.6% chance of winning both games in Golden State with a healthy Draymond.  They had a 6.9% chance of winning the series.

Where did I say the series was over after game 6?  All the analytics in the world don't mean #### because they still have to play the game.

I couldn't care less if people agree with me, but disagreeing with Vegas and Voulgaris is idiotic.
What did Vegas say about tonight's game?? :lmao:

Smart with a huge game
out of curiosity, does this change Boston's thinking to draft Fultz? I would think bringing Fultz in will either have him on the bench or hold back your other guards. i would think they take Taytum or Johnson, and if they can trade with Philly to get some extra with still taking either guy

Doesn't change a thing, if they keep the pick they will pick who they feel is the best player. The position of that player won't factor into their decision.

How does it not make sense? Isaiah Thomas is a defensive liability at what 5 ft nothing...?

The ball had to bounce on the rim, if it goes straight in the Cavs would have time to try to tie it. #killingtheclock@AtlantaFalcons :P

And here they come...

After 13 straight playoff wins, the haters will now come out of the woodwork!!
It was a great rendition of the infamous 8 point Heatles performance. He deserves hate for this, as does the team. Just a garbage effort that led them to this. They thought they could f*** around and play flashy playground ball and it came back to bite them. This is the reason he'll never be better than Jordan. He only puts in the effort when he has to or wants to prove a point.

I know it's just one game and the Celtics would not be here without him, but this game shows why Isaiah Thomas shouldn't be brought back for the max. He brings the offense, but is just as bad on defense.

:lmao: They were up 21 and killing the Celtics making almost every shot they threw at the hoop, and the Celtics couldn't make anything. Everyone in the world would lose a little edge and once the tide turned it was too late to turn it back. It happens to everyone.

How can you say the bold, and then seriously say the underlined. Where you laughing the entire time you were typing?

Like 30 point scorers just fall off trees. Dirk is a horrible defensive player, but Dallas made it work.

IT had a career year, not gonna replicate that again. I forgot to add he should not be brought back for the max. If it's a team friendly deal, then it's cool.

This is a truly awful post.
