Wow, how do the Cavs ever lose a home game? Through three quarters, the refs aren't even attempting to hide the favoritism. If this is normal, I cant see how the Cavs managed to lose 3 on their court.
All of The refs and silver meet at the Algonquin hotel prior to the season and map out which games they will have the cavs lose at home so that it is not too obvious.   Nice work seeing through it.

Impressive showing from the Lakers
yeah, they are tanking/losing on purpose at this point right? I imagine this will be fine by the sports media and all involved, but yeah it is a good way out of getting out of a trade where Hinkie robbed them. Funny how this will all be fine and no one will care when the Lakers do it.

Hinkie didn't trade with the Lakers.  He robbed Phoenix.

we really do need to acknowledge that the rights to Cenk Akyol were traded yet again, this time from the Nuggets to the Hawks as an ancillary part of the Korver deal.  Nuggets receive Mo Williams, simply to get to the salary floor for the season, and then they immediately waived him.  Not to be outdone, the Sixers immediately claimed Williams to count his salary toward their salary floor, and promptly waived him the next day.  GB the NBA.  (Supposedly this loophole will be closed in the next CBA.)

Not even close to similar situations.  Lakers spent bucks on Mozgov and Deng trying to improve their team or at least thought it would, Hinkie paid for D league talent to masquerade as NBA players for cheap Major League style of tanking.

Nuggets made out pretty well in that ordeal. Basically made half a million dollars to cut Williams for the Hawks.

I'm curious, what does Mo make out of all this? Is he at least cashing in on being jerked around?

Looks like he's getting about $3.3 million between 4 teams this season.

If you're looking for League Pass action tonight, Wiz-Celtics should be amusing. It's virtually a guarantee that punches will be thrown.

I have no idea why the teams hate each other so much, last night's game at Charlotte was actually a much bigger one for the Wiz. Whatever gets you through the midseason doldrums I guess.

I didn't even know that was a rivalry

Any chance someone turns Danny Ainge's lights out? I'd probably buy league pass to see that.

Another game, another win.

this one was pretty impressive, and better have solidified Sixers re-signing Noel for whatever it will take. Richaun Holmes is worth a roster spot too. I know they won't get what they want for Okafor, but they should cut their losses and get what they can at this point

Really like Holmes.

Yeah it makes no sense, I can't even remember the last time the Wiz and Celtics met in the playoffs.  I think it's just because there's a lot of prickly chip-on-the-shoulder type players on both teams.

Wiz have the best record in the East since their 2-8 start.  If Brooks gets this team to 45+ wins with Jason Smith and Kelly Oubre Jr. as his two best bench options he might deserve some coach of the year consideration.

Sixers with 72 1st half points without Joel and Okafor again. Really think this team may sneak into the playoffs, and will be a pain in the ### for whoever they play

good lord, jerebko just got ####ed up by harden.

probably not intentional elbow, but it did not look good.

actually, i think that was intentional.

I just wonder how the top free agents will be able to decide which team they'd rather join
they'll all want to come to Philadelphia because Colangelo is here instead of Hinkie. At least that is what the NBA and Sixers organization told the fan base.
