I have no clue about the salaries matching up, but Chandler would be a nice fit for the Warriors. 3 big guys that can rebound, give decent rim protection and no worries about fouls, minutes or injuries. Assuming Zaza is coming back. I have no idea about his injury.

hasn't improved his game since his time with the Sixers, but Sweet Lou will always have a soft spot in my heart so i can't rain on his paraded

That's a lot of salary. Pachulia's back soon, McGee's been really good, and Green gets minutes at the 5 when they go small. I dunno if it'd make sense to take on his contract, much less give anything up for him.

I assume that most/all of the gang will be back together next year, including Iguodala and Livingston. And they'll be able to fill out their roster with cheap, veteran ring-chasers. Don't think they're gonna make a big move at this deadline.

 
Chandler's gonna be tough to move. He's better and has a better contract than what the jokers at Center got this offseason but far from ideal.. ( :lmao: Last offseason will be the butt of jokes for years and years).  His deal is still a meh (at best) contract considering it's a small ball league, he lacks any offensive versatility and he'd be seeing 20-25 mpg on a decent team. He's not the elite help defender and rim protecter he was and doesn't help he still has 2 years on his deal.

PJ Tucker's the most likely to get dealt. (Last year of deal and can play multiple positions). Knight won't bring much in return at this point and don't know they'll take back a bad (long term) contract to just rid of him. He can definitely score. He's just a horrible defender. Ulis is the better PG and much better defender.

The Pelicans have reportedly made Buddy Hield available in trade talks.

Justin Verrier of ESPN reports that anyone on the team not named Anthony Davis could be had for the right price as the Pelicans look to pair their franchise big man with another All-Star, so it'll be interesting to see if they can make a major move on deadline day. The Kings were linked to the Pelicans concerning a potential DeMarcus Cousins trade, although it seems unlikely that New Orleans will be able to land a guy like DMC with just Jrue Holiday, Hield and some draft picks. Feb 19 - 6:30 PM

I don't think they like his attitude in general and it doesn't seem like he is trying to improve on defense.  Also, I think that he may have more value than Noel at this point since he is still cost-controlled for a couple years and someone still might think they could make something out of it.

And the more that I've thought about it, I'm thinking that the Sixers are planning to re-sign Noel.  I don't hear much about any trades for him and the Sixers seem to be leaking everything they can about Okafor, so I would assume that there would be something out there.  So unless they have a major contingency plan to trade Noel if Okafor can't be moved, I think he stays put and they re-sign him, because if they don't trade him and they don't re-sign him then they have colossally ####ed that up.  Although I suppose that I wouldn't put that past old Lyin' Bryan.

 
If the Heat keep playing good defense and team offense, they might edge out Wade and the Bulls for the last playoff spot. Per Barry Jackson's article in the Miami Herald: "It's shocking, winning 13 in a row with [this roster]. You can say the league sucks and the Eastern Conference sucks and it does. They have two players and everybody else. But they have guys who compete, the coach is great. Erik has somehow figured it all out. They play hard and they have guys who have incentive to play hard who are looking for bigger paydays."

The players earning bigger paychecks include Waiters ("can he sustain it?") and James Johnson ("better than everybody previously thought", "versatile, point forward"). In addition, Dragic and Tyler Johnson are playing up to their contracts. Even D-Leaguers Willie Reed and Rodney McGruder are exceeding expectations.

During the 13-game streak, they played bad teams, but they also beat GS, the Rockets (twice) and Atlanta.

Imo, Noel still would be a perfect fit in Boston.  I would flip Crowder for him if I had to.

Yeah, I think Crowder is one of the top 30-40 trade assets in the league with his crazy good contract (3 years AFTER this season at about $22 million total) and he's probably one of the best 10 or so small forwards in the NBA.

I would love for the Nuggets to snag him.

That is a little high for him IMO, but no way would I trade him straight up for Noel.

He's one of the best defenders as his position in the league and he's improved immensely on offensive to the point of being an elite shooter and a decent to good offensive player otherwise. He's not going to be the first or second offensive option for any decent team but he'll do everything else a team needs to win a title. 

 
Just an opinion--but a very lackluster NBA all star weekend. Very little energy outside of Russell, AD, and Giannis in the ASG.  Dunk contest was pretty weak this year.   Hopefully the players bring more energy and competitive spirit next year.

Good for the Pelicans and all, but he's almost definitely not re-signing there so what's the point?  I guess they're going to try and have AD work on him.

Kings essentially getting to keep their 2017 pick as well, which they would have likely lost to Chicago had they kept Boogie.  

Not saying I like the deal, but that's a big part of it if we're judging the entirety.  

 
How does every other team in the league not best that? 

Fournier, Hezonja, some other loser, future first and second. Done?

 
Easily worth the gamble if you're New Orleans.  I am absolutely baffled that this is the best the Kings could get.  Stunned.
