it's so simple, maybe you guys need a refresher course. it's all triple doubles these days.
@ Crowder trying to go glass. Your kind of an idiot aren't you ?![]()
Now reports are coming out that LeBron was "sick" during Game 3. This guy is a mental midget who deserves no mention in the same sentence as Jordan.
As if no one remembers LeBron leading the Cavs to the greatest NBA finals comeback in history as no other team came back down 3-1 and it was the first win on the road in an NBA finals since like 1978 oh and it was against the greatest regular season team of all time who had a 73-9 record. LeBron had the greatest 3 game stretch in NBA finals history and one thing everyone forgets about Jordan is he went 6-0 because he was favored to win every series. He never had to play against a 73 win team and he never drug a horrible supporting cast to the finals like LeBron did in 2007. LeBron was able to take a team to the finals that had no business being there something Jordan could never do.In game 3 of the '97 finals, Jordan went 9-22 for 26 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 to, 1 steal, 2 blocks. The Jazz won the game toe make the series 2-1.
In game 4 of the '97 finals, Jordan went 11-27 for 22 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 to, 0 steals, 0 blocks. The Jazz won the game to tie the series 2-2.
It's as if people have completely forgotten that Jordan wasn't perfect.
Since you volunteered why don't you explain to me why.Your kind of an idiot aren't you ?
Long way to go to catch Kareem as the greatest NBA player of all timeAnd there it is. Lebron now the greatest NBA playoff player in history as he passes Jordan in playoff points.
Equally insufferable. So yeah, it's gonna be a s***show whatever the outcome. As it has been with pretty much every Finals that LeBron has been in.What would be worse after the finals? The LeBron haters if the Cavs lose or the LeBron fanboys if they win?
Hey Gordo...it's so simple, maybe you guys need a refresher course. it's all triple doubles these days.
How is it different that LeBron' s toughest test came in the finals, but Jordan's came in the East?As if no one remembers LeBron leading the Cavs to the greatest NBA finals comeback in history as no other team came back down 3-1 and it was the first win on the road in an NBA finals since like 1978 oh and it was against the greatest regular season team of all time who had a 73-9 record. @Weebs210 Why are you liking this? You will be one of the fanboys if the Cavs win. What would be worse after the finals? The LeBron haters if the Cavs lose or the LeBron fanboys if they win?
Why didn't you ask Shamrock Pride why he liked it? Haters unite!!!@Weebs210 Why are you liking this? You will be one of the fanboys if the Cavs win.

C'mon, nonsense. All the Spurs and Warriors teams are far superior to anything you're trying to compare them too.How is it different that LeBron' s toughest test came in the finals, but Jordan's came in the East?
The East has been horrible for the better part of a decade during LeBron's run. The same way the East had a lot better teams in the 80's and most of 90's. So LeBron had the easier path to the finals, and Jordan had the easier time in the finals.
and then the Celtics face a healthy Sixers team andI hate the Bulls. Gar/Pax need to trade Butler to the Cs. Butler and Lopez make that team a contender.
Hate! Hate! Hate! What would be worse after the finals? The LeBron haters if the Cavs lose or the LeBron fanboys if they win?
That isn't my point. My point was to everyone saying Jordan had no competition in the finals. His best competition came from the East, usually in the ECF. How is that different than LeBron having his best competition in the finals? Why does someone get downgraded because their best competition was before the finals? If the 2nd best team is in your conference why should it matter when you beat them?C'mon, nonsense. All the Spurs and Warriors teams are far superior to anything you're trying to compare them too.
At least one on this page. Are there actually any true Cavaliers fans here?
To be fair it makes your finals record look better when your finals opponents are weak. That isn't my point. My point was to everyone saying Jordan had no competition in the finals. I'm no Lebron lover, but that 2012 OKC team with Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka was pretty damn talented as well.C'mon, nonsense. All the Spurs and Warriors teams are far superior to anything you're trying to compare them too.
It goes both ways, it makes going to the finals easier when your opponents are weak.To be fair it makes your finals record look better when your finals opponents are weak.
Which is the bigger accomplishment though? It goes both ways, it makes going to the finals easier when your opponents are weak.
They should rename the Patrick Ewing theory the James Harden theory. No team is winning a ring with his defense.I'm no Lebron lover, but that 2012 OKC team with Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka was pretty damn talented as well.
Both are amazing accomplishments, and someone trying to downplay one to prop up the other player is pretty weak.Which is the bigger accomplishment though?
A. Jordan going 6-0 in the finals
or
B. Lebron making 7 straight finals appearances
They are both awesome. It is hard to compare, and in reality there is no wrong answer.Which is the bigger accomplishment though?

Both are amazing. 7 straight finals is just absurd.Which is the bigger accomplishment though?

I do not want to get into the whole Jordan v. LeBron debate (because it does not matter) but let's not re-write history to make your point. To be fair it makes your finals record look better when your finals opponents are weak.
130 used to lose games in the 80sWhat was the lowest scoring game this entire NBA season? This scoring is out of hand. SA lost with 115 the other night. 115 loses games now. Like wtf.
stop it. i came here to finely split hairs not to talk sense. Both are amazing. 7 straight finals is just absurd.
What do you mean by that?! And why did you wait til now to say so?!?!stop it. i came here to finely split hairs not to talk sense.
Come on man. You just listed Divac, Perkins, Danny Ainge (I do not want to get into the whole Jordan v. LeBron debate (because it does not matter) but let's not re-write history to make your point.
The Bulls beat the following teams in the finals:
Lakers: Magic (admittedly at the end of his career, but still), Worthy, Divac, Perkins
Trail Blazers: Drexler, Porter
Suns: Barkly, Marjerle, K. Johnson, Ainge
Supersonics: Kemp
Jazz (x2): Malone, Russell, Stockton
None of those teams were "weak". Sure they are not the Warriors though either. The Blazers team was likely the worst team out of all of them, but they still a solid team.
), and Byron Russell (COME ON) to make a point about Jordan's competition?? Troll level leaving GP off and listing Ainge, Russell, Divac is HIGHI do not want to get into the whole Jordan v. LeBron debate (because it does not matter) but let's not re-write history to make your point.
