So I rarely watch this nonsense anymore but decided to queue it up on my laptop.

I watch Curry get the ball at the perimeter and #27 comes over and not only sets a moving screen but puts both hands on the defender...underhooks him...grabs the defender and proceed to walk him towards the basket away from Curry.

Curry drains the 3 and grimaces while biting his mouthpiece and jogging back on defense.

NBA...it's REFtastic.

F' this "sport".
ok?

Was a good run guys. Durant has completely ruined the NBA. Think I'm done watching NBA until things get more balanced.
:fishing: :lmao:

Is that why you like LeBron better than Jordan? After Jordan won a couple titles you quit watching for a decade?

Yes. It was a great performance by GS and for a half, Cleveland.

A lot of close games are awful to watch. Close < > good.
Looking at the final score, looks like another awesome game!

Silver said he doesn't see a problem with competitiveness. Might be waiting a while.
dubs could have a little bit of a bench issue next year with all of their free agents.

may have a roster of klay, dray, curry, durant, mccaw, truck, baron davis, al attles and a rotating cast of contest winners.

Let's get this straight. You want to be done with the NBA (which we know you aren't) because the Warriors are dominating right now? BUT you are okay with LeBron  dominating the East and going to 7 straight finals and winning 3 championships because you like him?

He said until things get more balanced.

And do you really not understand the difference?

Looks like the globe trotters against the generals out there.
It's like CLE can hang with GSW for about 30-36 minutes, but there's that other 12-18 where it's Trotters v Generals.  During that explosion early in the 4th, GSW could've called timeout to do the confetti bucket bit and it wouldn't have seemed out of place.

It was pretty entertaining.  Lebron put on a performance for the ages, but the Warriors are just an absolutely amazing team.  Again, close <> good.
Agreed.  It was fascinating watching CLE hang around for as long as they did, and then wow did GSW put on a show when they put the game away.

Did James ruin the NBA when he went to Miami? Durant took his talents to GS as James did to Miami.

GS is more fun to watch than James and the Cavs.

How was the Spurs up 23 in the 2nd half on GS at their place.........

Down 0-2 I don't see no Christmas miracles this year for the Cavs.

Adding Durant to a 73 win team made this over before it began back on July 4th, 2016.

Shocked GS lost as many game in the regular season as they did.

Not sure who is beating this GS team unless they have major injuries anytime in the near future.
Well unless you get shoddy officiating. No way NBA allows this series to be a sweep. They'd be embarrassed by the lack of competition these playoffs plus with the way they'd had the media including their people at ESPN hype this up imagine egg on their face if Cleland and LeBron their poster boy get swept?

I said nothing about more balanced? He has been making crazy statements all post season, and he loves how LeBron dominates the NBA, but when a team comes in and beats his guy he throws a fit and says he is done until there is more balance(LeBron starts winning again). Then he is back 11 minutes later and says see you for game 3.

False equivalency.
You are never going to get a complete equal, and it started before James with Garnett, Allen and Pierce. Since that time we have seen quite a few star players try to form super teams or make a team trade them because they refused to resign with them. In reality Golden State and Durant did what a lot of teams have done. They were title contenders, and they made sure they stayed that way by adding the best possible piece they could.

NBA was already ruined. LeBron just opened the NBA's big wound and made it larger. The last CBA could've solved plenty of issues but the CBA currently only put a band aid on many issues that need to be taken by the horns and solved immediately like One and done, protecting teams from losing stars especially smaller market teams (Did that in a way but still not enough). I hate the dude but LeBron became the punching bag because he's the most popular figure plus there's still old school sports fans who believe in team loyalty by athletes which is very rare anymore. No sure how much soccer people here watch but one of Soccers legends Francesco Totti of Italy played in Rome his whole career. Had huge offers to go else where make more money and win more titles but chose to stay at his hometown club. Said one league title in Roma means more to me then 10 at Milan, Manchester Untied or Barcelona. Instead of sucking it up lebron took advantage of the system in all fairness with the way the league is put in place. Also LeBron didn't endear himself having a 1 hour special acting like he was picking which college he was going to with THE DECISION.

They were using a freakin ladder, for gods sake!

Dubs need every bit of KD, because it keeps their performance from hinging on Mr Mouthpiece, who is still refusing to do anything that's not fun & harshes his cazh

Another boring game. Cavs bench is so trash other then Korver. No money to spend on bench because Kyrie, Love and James took big paydays and Gilbert is benign over backwards for James and Signed Tristan Thompson to an oversized contract that limits them adding depth. You can have the 5 best players ever at all 5 starting positions but if you don't have solid depth behind them eventually it won't work.

So you are enjoying NBA playoffs right now?

I don't have any idea how anyone could have watched that game and come away with "boring."

At least Boston and Miami (in the seasons just prior to the moves) were not that great before the super teams were formed; GS won 73 games and still felt the need to recruit Durant.  Props to them for pulling it off, but some championships just feel special and some do not; this one will not at all.

They have 8M invested in Frye who has done nothing in this series.

That is your opinion, I think this one is better than either of the other 2 you mentioned. Those were teams that were just built in a year, Curry, Klay, Draymond were all drafted and groomed by the Warriors, Iggy has found his new role, McGee renewed his career, Durant was one hired gun to put them back over the top.

Now the big money question is which game do the refs gift to the Cavs to draw this out to five games?

Is it Game 3 or 4?

I'm thinking Game 3.

A lot of people would say Durant is a fraud because he couldn't beat GS so when the opportunity came he ends up joining them now he comes out like he's a hot shot player again when he seemed to disappear in big games. This isn't my Opinion just what I've seen from some people. I have a lot of friends from school who weren't happy what Durant did saying it was kind of a b**** move by him. However the argument defending it could be him and Russ couldn't co exist in OKC and that seems to be a lot of what was reported by reliable people. Why play with a guy who you don't enjoy playing with? It's similar to work why stay at your current job with people you don't like or can't trust when you have a far better job opportunity and can advance and make more money? I get both arguments but I think it's a fraud move to go there. I said to people before KD was an FA I could take Durant leaving OKC because of Russ and other things but only if he doesn't team up with Melo, James or GS. Heck I'd have enjoyed him in SA.

They could pull a SA and guys could take less to keep the team together and get better (I know right how much better could they get then they are now).

"I thought the Generals were due!" was a common lament among my Timberwolves tickets buddies in 90s.  There were a lot of nights like tonight where enough good plays happened to keep it close, and then they would regress to their mean and all of a sudden are down by 18.
