***2016 MLB Playoff thread: Cubs win for first time since sliced bread hit market (1 Viewer)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the Jays down 0-2 last year at this same time?  Perhaps the Rangers will return the favor?  Just need Odor to hit one over the seats, flip his bat and instruct fans to throw beer bottles on to infants.

I really dislike "over managing". You're up 5-1 in the bottom of 8. Why be in such a hurry to remove your "8th inning guy" just because they put a lefty pinch hitter in?  You've just limited your options for no reason.  It's not like Grilli can't get lefties out? Now you've limited yourself to 2 guys basically and one has just taken a ball off the noggin.  The other one - your last good option now is somehow "ok" after the scare Tuesday night.

There was really no reason to panic and remove Grilli!

just sayin' :)

Hum dinger!

Wonder if Willis just told them to mix up their signs? Sorry, never really liked Willis when he was in Cle.

I knew I could count on Price in the Playoffs.

This TBS/ESPN/FS1 rotation has finally made me shoot the lock off the wallet and spring for the $40 Sling package.

Rangers fans currently booing the player who just took a ball in the back of the head   after cheering Mr. DUI/Hit and Run (is he allowed to cross the border?).
That's actually a great question. Usually Canada doesn't allow in people convicted of dui.

I feel like this for Toronto, and Cleveland beating Boston is even more things going well for Jays IMO. Not that Cleveland isn't a good team but Boston destroyed the Jays a few times down the stretch.
The Tribe/Jays series in August was one of my favorite of the season.  Fun baseball there.

:lmao: Everything you post is a fail.

You quoted an article that said some dumb #### like this:

But the format of the playoffs will allow them to hide their back-end starting pitchers and hand more innings to David Price and Rick Porcello, so expect the Red Sox to pitch a little better in the postseason than they did in the regular season. :lmao:

Right, I forgot you don't understand randomness either. Carry on.

Let's hand MORE innings to David Price in the postseason.  :lmao:

In 9 postseason starts, Price has a 5.74 ERA. If the Sox lose this game, he’ll be 0-8 in those games and his teams 0-9.

We are sitting near all the Doyer wives and Kenley Jansen's woman was loling him having to hit.

Great game here.

You tried to post the same stupid articles in response last year when I said the Royals were better built for the postseason than the Jays.  Your team promptly lost the next series and SURPRISE the Royals won the WS.

Things sure play out the way I say they will for not understanding math nor randomness.  :lmao:

You already admitted you post contrarian every time and you've repeatedly shown you don't understand math. I'm done with your trolling, I'm going to ignore you now.

:lmao:   How qualified are you to determine if I know math or not?

Come on now.  Don't post stupid 538 articles as your only comeback and then quit on me.

Giants defense with two big plays already.

Wonder if Posey could have scored on Zobrist's misplay had he been running full speed.

Boston didn't pitch well, hit well, field well, or even do the intangibles and fundamentals well. They look bad right now.
