2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

OU @ Oregon in 2006 or '07 had some laughably bad officiating, particularly the onside kick "recovery." Here is the replay. Oregon touched it early, but the best part is that the ball squirted through and nobody from Oregon ever covered it. They reviewed it and still missed both. Good stuff.

I was at two of those games.  They were not so much fun.
Actually, the Rose Bowl 2010 was one of the most fun times I've had in years.  Had Blount not fumbled as he rumbled towards the goal line, who knows what would have happened.

Championship game just gave me nightmares of a man in a half shirt running at will over the Ducks.

Tuesday - Starting WR Chase Claypool announced season-ending shoulder surgery

Wednesday - Starting WR Kevin Stepherson and backup RB CJ Holmes arrested for shoplifting warm up pants and indefinitely suspended

Thursday - Starting TE Alize Mack notified he broke team rules and is suspended for the bowl game

Friday - Starting WR Kevin Stepherson indicted on driving without a license and marijuana possession from previous week.

Bet the whole house on LSU. I’d even wager that losing ND’s top three pass catching targets still finds Kelly’s game plan passing 30+ times.

The Gators own Oregon: 1-0 Last Meeting: 1929

At the old Madison Square Garden Stadium in Miami on December 7, in front of more than 25,000,[22] the Gators had a major inter-sectional victory over coach John McEwan's Oregon Webfoots 20 to 6. The Gators had a light drill on Fleming Field on the afternoon of the 5th. At 9:30 they embarked on a special train, which transferred to the train bearing the Oregon players at Palatka.[23]

The heat forced many Oregon players to take off their jerseys. Clyde Crabtree, in his final game, had a touchdown on a punt return of 80 yards,[24] Ed Sauls had one on a run through the line of 38 yards.[25] The other score came on 10-yard run by Red McEwen.

The starting lineup for the Gators against Oregon: Parnell (left end), Waters (left tackle), Steele (left guard), Clemons (center), Reeves (right guard), Proctor (right tackle), Nolan (right end), Crabtree (quarterback), Dorsett (left halfback), Goodbread (right halfback), Cawthon (fullback).[25]

No wonder there's no Bowl game tonight.

3 days before Christmas, part of elongated holiday weekend....LivePD should be a ratings bonanza

Did anyone notice Herman’s haul at UT? And he loaded up on D specifically the secondary...3 Top 6 Safeties and 3 Top 15 DBs.  Look out.

I’m kinda surprised that UGA’s haul is getting more pub than what Herman has done. Both are impressive, but one is having a successful season and has always recruited well, the other hasn’t had a good season in a number of years.

I also think it’s kind of neat that 7 of the top 10 will all be playing within an hour of each other, and another a couple hours away at Bama.

This still shot is fantastic.

One of my good buddies just got to Brazil for his diplomatic rotation and he wanted my Xfinity password so he could watch football.

"Nothing makes you feel more at home than the Birmingham Bowl!" :lmao:

Army seems to run the fullback dive better than any of the wishbone teams in recent memory.  They have Bradshaw who can get to the outside and defense has to watch that first, then they just bust you in the mouth with these big fullbacks.  Not easy to stop.
