2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

Weird, the Uverse channel guide goes from 1642 to 1644 and does not show a 1643. 1643 is CBS Sports Network and has the Boise game.

1. Bama
2. OU
3. Clemson
4. Da U

5. Wisconsin
6. Auburn
7. UGA
8. ND

??
Stop this disrespect of Wisconsin right now.  They pistol whipped an Iowa team that curb stomped Ohio State.  Take Clemson right out and put Wisconsisn in.  Clemson lost to Syracuse. Worse loss by any of the contenders.

Wisconsin wins out and theyre in... they won’t be in the top 4 this week.

LOL.   Wisconsin's best wins are NW and Iowa.  After that it's either Nebraska or Indiana.

Clemson has wins against Auburn, Va Tech, NCSU, Louisville, Ga Tech, and BC.  Much better resume and still have a South Carolina on the schedule.  Wisconsin shouldn't have scheduled Utah St, FAU, and BYU.

Ohio State over Notre Dame?

Assuming Bama wins out, Miami/Clemson and Wisconsin/Ohio State are like quarterfinal games and Oklahoma controls the last spot?
Maybe OSU over ND, I was just going off the current top group. I can easily see that, though.

In my mind, these teams control their own destiny:

Bama, Auburn, UGA

Clemson, Miami

OU

Wisconsin

These teams took themselves out of the playoff today:

ND, TCU

Teams with a sliver of hope but need a lot of help:

Ohio State, USC

1. Bama
2. OU
3. Clemson
4. Da U

5. Wisconsin
6. Auburn
7. UGA
8. ND

??
I don't have a problem with that ranking.

Just a question, how many losses would have to occur for an undefeated UCF to make the playoff? Everyone else have at least 2?

I think the order will be:

Bama

OU (whooping #6)

Clemson

Miami

Wisconsin

Auburn

Georgia

that's all that matters

I just don’t see it happening.  By ranking them where they are currently, the committee has made it pretty clear that this playoff is only for the P5 teams.

I'm doing a Toys for Tots fundraiser and the main guy helping me is a Irish fan. So we had one TV near us and had to keep switching back and forth between OU and ND game. It's been on the OU game for an hour now, lol.

Congrats to MOP, Miami molded his great math mind.

Alabama wins out, knocking out Auburn and Georgia

Miami wins out knocking out Clemson

OU wins out.

And everyone sighs as OSU wins out..... and the 4th team is either a one loss Wisconsin that didn't beat anyone all year and just lost their conference championship game, a 2 loss Georgia that just lost their conference championship games, a 2 loss ND, a 2 loss USC (that lost to ND), or a 2 loss Ohio State that finished the seasons with wins at Michigan and over an undefeated Wisconsin to win the Big Ten Championship.

Well, Clemson should have beat Syracuse.  6 other teams had no problems doing it.  Wisconsin is unblemished.

Wisconsin has beaten 1 team in the top 25.

Clemson has beaten like 6, including the team that just put a 40 burger up on the #1 ranked team in the nation.

Take care of your business and stop worrying about other teams.

OSU most likely

:lmao:

This will all play itself out so it doesn't matter but this is the dumbest argument for Wisconsin ever.  Their resume was about even with Central Florida until they beat Iowa today.  But beat Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio State and they will be in the top 4

The cheese state must be jonesing for media coverage ever since Rodgers went down and everyone isn’t stroking off the Packers anymore.

Agree that's what would happen but UGA and ND would still have better wins than Ohio State (and nothing comparable to the 31 point loss to Iowa).
OSU would've just beaten the #4 team ( ;) ) in the country and won their conference.  No way ND should make it in.   Georgia only beat ND which is an equal win to Wisc.  I don't see that as better wins.
