2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (1 Viewer)

@JaxBill10: Next week on Sesame Street the Count will have a special guest - Gary Danielsen for the number 12.  #ALAvsAUB

Assuming Temple finishes off Tulsa and Wisconsin finishes off Minnesota, I believe that makes 78 eligible teams for 78 bowl spots.  6-4 UT San Antonio plays against 5-6 Louisiana Tech later tonight, with La Tech the last potential team playing for eligibility.  Let's go Roadrunners.
Colorado-Utah tonight seems relevant, no?  Both teams are 5-6.

If Auburn wins the SECCC, they have to be in. Two wins over UGA and 1 over Bama. They’d have the big wins that OSU had last year.

If they win next week, I think they might take the 1 seed.

Winner of SEC is in.

If Clemson wins tonight, ACC winner is in

OU in with win

Wisconsin in with win

1st alternate is Bama.  I can’t see anyway Bama jumps any of those, they basically have zero quality wins at this point. The one team that could punch them in the mouth, punched them in the mouth.

Ohio St -6.5 vs Wisconsin

Sad that a team who isn't even playing for their conference championship can even be in the discussion for the CFB playoffs.    Play fewer games and still get in?    Weird

Saban is playing chess while the rest of college football is playing checkers.    Saban doesn't even have to play next week and probably still in the playoffs.   Win/Win Bama

Worked in 2011......

I've been in and out this afternoon. Saw a chunk of the Iron Bowl just checking scores now.

Arkansas State 67, La Monroe 50 ... Wut.

Lets say Clemson, Wisconsin, Oklahoma win out.   Who does Alabama take the place of?
I think that's the only scenario that keeps Alabama out. Where it gets fascinating is Alabama vs. B1G champ OSU for the final spot if OSU beats Wisconsin.

No one.   However, let's say  S. Carolina wins tonight,  then a 2 loss Clemson wins the ACC,  a 2 loss Auburn wins the SEC,  a two loss OSU wins the Big10, and a 2 loss TCU wins the Big12, no way Bama gets left out in that scenario, right?  Someone (TCU)  would get screwed over, I'd assume.
I'd vote for an 8 team playoff.  Always thought it should be 8, anyway.

He essentially fathered the fantastic Labor Day weekend slate  we see now.  You are right he’s a step ahead. But its not to back door anything.

AJ Dillion has quietly rushed for 1100 yards in his last six games

Why did Michigan want him as a LB?

Royce Freeman might be the most underrated and unheralded RBs in college football history.  By the numbers, he is one of the very best to ever play.  5,000 yards rushing, 800 yards receiving.  Ho hum.

Now that I think about it, I think Alabama stays at 1 next week. They finally have a decent loss on their resume, and the committee can cite all of the injuries they have.

ND-Stanford punching each other in the mouth in each run game so far. ND with a big 83 yard TD pass to go up early.

ND looking completely gassed. Stanford QB Costello is dialed in and led Stanford to two straight TD drives: 14-7 Stanford.
