2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

By getting to 6 wins, the ’Noles have reached bowl eligibility, which means that their streak of 35 bowls in a row will be extended to 36. 35 was tied for the most consecutive bowls ever, with a Nebraska streak well since expired. FSU will now have 36 all to itself, with a chance to add many more.

one positive in a year of crap.

There's a reason why Andrew Jackson pushed the natives to that area, and it's not because it's ####### shangri la

When I think of awesome places, the first thing that comes to mind is the not-Miami part of Florida and Ohio.

You’re one state over right? You can’t possibly think there’s much of a difference between Arkansas and Oklahoma.

which implies you think you're getting a bowl bid, unless the bolded means something different to you.

Oklahoma is a great football program and a ####hole state. Same with Alabama. Same with northern Florida. I'm not going to climb to the top of the hill and defend any of those backwards ### parts of the country, even where I went to school.

Who's taking a lousy 6-6 Free Shoes U?
Gator or Independence from what I've read.

Spoiler: if you are bowl eligible in a power conference you're going bowling.

Also, free shoes u, really a biting insult in 2017, Jay

I'm from northwest AR, yes.  I'm glad I left.  The Ozarks area is very nice (except the people, infrastructure, job market, businesses, and schools), and yeah I've been to Natural Falls SP, which has a nice disc golf course.

I'm assuming that the game will be on a channel that most cable/satellite systems have?
I guess you get espn. Or you don't? I don't really know/care. But all the bowl games except one are on that family of channels for your future reference. I believe the Sun is still on CBS, but Verne won't be doing it. That game is played in a stadium that is built into a mountain  -- pretty cool!

Anyways this is side splitting material you're bringing here. If you have any more questions about the great game of college football I'll be happy to educate you further.

It’s a highly underrated area in terms of natural beauty

Ohio is a place of kittens in bow ties sitting on rainbows, bars where craft beer is free, and endless buffets of chicken wings with 200+ sauces. Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in Twins was modeled after the typical OSU graduate.

I'm jealous of the bromance you have with @Doctor Detroit. :kicksrock:

Years ago on my way driving out to Ft Hauchuca I saw it from I-10.  I gotta say, it's a pretty neat sight.

Man, I don’t know. I’m watching, but it’s so sloppy. Memphis can’t figure out how to snap the ball in time, there’s no defense, no tackling, it’s just meh for me.
Delay of game on the first play in overtime.

Holding on the second play.

This could take a couple of hours to finish.

Source: Scott Frost has agreed to 7-year, $35 million deal with Nebraska, but in days leading up today’s AAC title game was still having some “serious cold feet & remorse.” @LarsAnderson71 previously reported contract figures

Well, ####.  Now I gotta pull for Ohio State tonight for any shot at a title this year.

Gratz on the B'ham Bowl, Capella.
