2017 NFL Dreaft Thread--Free of Shark Poop (1 Viewer)

I liked the first trade (which you didn't acknowledge), let's see what they did now.  They lacked a lot of middle picks, the more the merrier.
I did ask what they got a page back or so. I like getting more picks though. They need to hit on these this year, a lot of holes starting to develop.

Seahawks got the 34th pick and a 4th rounder for the 31st pick.

So they traded the 26th pick for the 31, traded the 31st for 34th, and got a 3rd, a 4th, and a 7th in return.

Okay. I am going to retract my statement. If they only moved back 3 spots and got a 4th rounder for it, that is great.

They need O-line and depth.  They had three 3rd rounders but lacked a 4th, 5th, and I think a 6th IIRC.  They added depth moving down 8 spots, and since their guy is still there IMO (Cam!), I like it.

I predict they won't take Cam. Not a commentary on the quality of Seattle's recent OLs (they've been bad), but Schneider's MO is to draft OLs that test exceptionally well athletically. Cam didn't.

They'll take some random flyers in the 6th and 7th round on OLs who have sky high SPARQ scores. Hopefully they'll draft somebody that can actually play before that.

We'll see.  Regardless I like what they did, there was nothing there that made a difference to them and they chose to acquire more picks.  They lack depth, especially on offense so bringing in more bodies is prudent IMO.

Yeah. The second trade down made me mad in the moment, but once I saw the details of what they got, I liked it a lot.

I think they may try to package a couple of those 3rd rounders to get another 2nd rounder, but I could be wrong.
