2018 College Football Thread: Local man buys some teenage champions a 4 for 4 (1 Viewer)

Stanford isn't hard to figure out.  They can only recruit from a very small pool of players and do well with what they get.  Occasionally, they will field a good to great team, capable of winning a Rose Bowl.  But they won't ever make the playoffs.  They take their studies for realz there.  Just the facts of life for them.
Stanford is basically a better Vanderbilt or northwestern. Doesn't excuse the current state of UCLA and USC.

OSU QB  T. Cornelius34-53, 501 YDS, 3 TD

Total Yards    OSU 640   OU 702

1st Downs   OSU 39        OU29

WOW!

I know it's been talked about, but the Venables sideline thing is just weird.

Kirby/Chaney spread the field on 4th down and Fromm picks out Godwin for the TD. Best call of the night for UGA's offense.  A big TD before the half and Georgia gets the ball to start the second half.

Does Boston College's stadium have some really massive amplifiers on their sound system... or did someone from ABC just put a microphone to close to it?

Any bets on Michigan scoring more than 3 points?
OSU's defense has been decimated by injuries this year. Why wouldn't they score more than 3?

ETA: Oh, you meant against Alabama. Who knows? It would actually be a good game... at least for a little while.

Yeah, I meant against the team that hasn't given up a point since October 20, 9 quarters, 8 of those quarters against ranked teams.
