You know what, I'll even do you a favor. Since Mike Fiers was supposed to be in the rotation, I'll throw his WAR from last year in there too so it doesn't look so bad.

Now what's 0.0 added too 1.9?

 
Those 5 (Zim, Fiers, Liriano, Boyd, Norris) make a combined $35.1 million dollars

Urena makes less than any of them do at $535K

He's stlll 24 so there's the possibility of a leap but there's not a lot in Williams' minor league resume that stands out.  Maybe Kapler sees a bit of himself in Williams' skill set :shrug:

Yeah, I don’t like him either. Just interesting that a guy batting #3 on opening day goes undrafted in even deep leagues.

Kapler says he’s playing matchups and will construct lineups to win that day’s game. He’s gonna give the talk-radio guys plenty of material this year, that’s for sure.

 
Odubel Herrera is out of the Phillies' starting lineup on Opening Day against the Braves.

Aaron Altherr will start in center field, with Nick Williams in left and Rhys Hoskins in right. Phillies manager Gabe Kapler cited offensive and defensive matchups among the reasons for Herrera's absence. Asked if he was upset by the decision, the 26-year-old outfielder replied, "Of course I am."

Kapler also benched Alfaro for Knapp, and says they will split time.  So much for the Alfaro share that I picked up when I lost Realmuto.

 
Man, Dansby Swanson really sucks. I don’t care if he isn’t a superstar but he just hacks at the ball and looks awful doing it. I’m not sure what went wrong there. 

 
If Boston lost their next 161 games just like they lost today, I would buy a pennant commemorating the greatest thing sports has ever witnessed.

I just put on MLB package to watch Rockies-Dbacks.  Patrick Corbin doesn't excite me though.  I guess we root against the Rockies here Ee?

MLB package is usually free for the first week for you no $$ pleebs.  YW.

I usually dislike the Rockies, but my dfs lineups have some Story, Arenado, LeMahieu sprinkled in.
