That guy was running NC State's offense under Ryan Finley. The guy that built most of Appy's current team is at Louisville nowSouth Carolina should hire the App State coach.

I think I’d put them all close to equal odds. You can’t compare the quality of the Pac to the Sec so the division to division thing doesn’t carry a lot of weight. If SOS is equal and Bama beat Auburn and Oregon lost how do you pick them?Say LSU OSU and Clem all win out. OU wins Big12 and Utah Pac12. Does a one loss Bama get in when they don't win their division over a one loss conference champ? Can Utah get in?
Mike Lynn - Hershel WalkerAbout a month ago, a lot of Saints fans were hoping Burrow could be drafted to take over for Drew Brees. Not in play anymore without a Herschel-Walker-meets-Mike-Ditka trade :(
If only we had that crucial 9th conference game vs Rutgers. If they pound the crap out of Western Carolina in two weeks, they're in, based on historical precedent.
Uh, all three, it’s the SEC!Bama wins out
LSU wins out in the regular season
Auburn beats UGA
2 loss UGA beats LSU in the SEC championship game.
Who goes from the SEC?
11-1 Bama
12-1 LSU
11-2 UGA
LSU and BamaBama wins out

That’s prob the right answer but I don’t see any way they could justify two teams from the same conference in which neither won the conference.LSU and Bama
They have demonstrated they do not care that much about conference titles. That’s prob the right answer but I don’t see any way they could justify two teams from the same conference in which neither won the conference.
With that loss to Muschamp? NopeThat's my thinking. I think it would be LSU and MAYBE UGA
Or Minnesota beat a penn State team that is all smoke and mirrorsThe best Reddit post I read today said:
Minnesota will not place high in the rankings because their best win is against a team that lost to Minnesota.
Only thing wrong was that replay showed it was to the wrong guy.Couldn't ask for a better throw.
They beat a PSU that had a bad day. That was the worst they played all year and still had a chance to win at the end.Gopher State said:Or Minnesota beat a penn State team that is all smoke and mirrors
Don’t all undefeated teams that lose play the worst they played all year? They beat a PSU that had a bad day. That was the worst they played all year and still had a chance to win at the end.
PSU's QB, Clifford, looked like he was hung over or something. He was missing passes high, low and wide all first half. If he played even a little bit better, they score at least 10 more points. He had TD throws on 3 separate drives to wide open receivers that he has made all year but yesterday threw uncatchable balls or INTs.Don’t all undefeated teams that lose play the worst they played all year?
I would say no - for example, I don’t think that was Bama’s worst game all season.Don’t all undefeated teams that lose play the worst they played all year?
nobody has beaten anybodyGopher State said:Or Minnesota beat a penn State team that is all smoke and mirrors
Didn’t say they did - too many permutations to list everything. I think OSU would get hurt if they lose to PSU but not UM. They lose to PSU and they need help, IMO.LSU and OSU don’t need to win out.
I don’t agree at all with the OSU/PSU scenario but we’ll see.Didn’t say they did - too many permutations to list everything. I think OSU would get hurt if they lose to PSU but not UM. They lose to PSU and they need help, IMO.
Four years of Muschamp as coach is more than enough, but the AD has to go first. This buyout is insane and you're right; they are not going to pay it without a big candidate.bigmarc27 said:I just gotta think that if you’re cutting a check that large, you probably need a big name ready to sign on the line.In The Zone said:Who knows but if they let Ray Tanner make the hire it will probably be Willie Taggert and sadly that would be an upgrade.
Oh, and from what I'm hearing the buyout won't be an issue.
Meaning you think they could lose to PSU and get in? I’ll wait for you to answer but my immediate reaction would be I think the SEC gets 2 teams before the B10.I don’t agree at all with the OSU/PSU scenario but we’ll see.
I guess if UGA wins out and LSU just has their one loss to them? Yea OSU could get squeezed there if Psu wins out.Meaning you think they could lose to PSU and get in? I’ll wait for you to answer but my immediate reaction would be I think the SEC gets 2 teams before the B10.
Yep, that’s what I’m thinking and the comment about them needing help.I guess if UGA wins out and LSU just has their one loss to them? Yea OSU could get squeezed there if Psu wins out.
If PSU beats OSU and then wins the B1G, that really hurts OSU.I don’t agree at all with the OSU/PSU scenario but we’ll see.
Well if precedent holds their choices are between Zook and McElwain.bigmarc27 said:Who could they get? Not trying to be rival guy, but they’ll be picking after FSU and I believe his buyout is like $20m.
This happened to OSU in 2015.If PSU beats OSU and then wins the B1G, that really hurts OSU.
