2019 College football thread - It's 2020, yo. Go to the new thread. (1 Viewer)

Name the top teams OKL beat.  i'll be waiting.
What's your metric though? If you want to use FPI, there's a strong argument pre-title games that their schedule was better than LSUs. If you want to use wins vs top 25, it was a notch below.

None of this is to say that I think OU is a better team - LSU is a better team IMO. I don't think there's any argument on that. But to say OU played a cakewalk schedule when South Dakota is the worst team they played, and really the only one on the whole schedule that's trash, when LSU played 3 teams not even in the top 75 of FPI, is a joke. Pre-Georgia, LSU played 3 good teams (Alabama, Auburn, FL) by the actual rankings, as did OU (Baylor twice and OkSt), if you prefer that metric.

You're argument is based on saying Baylor isn't good, when every metric says they are. It's like me responding "But yeah Florida and Auburn suck and they only played other crap SEC teams all year and didn't beat anyone good." You can have that opinion I guess, but all objective metrics say that having it means you kind of don't know what you're talking about.

Also: It's OU. This OKL crap makes you seem even more out of touch. It's like me randomly calling LSU  "LaSt" from now on because I'm trying to be a special snowflake. HTH.

And Clemson, in their first game against a team that doesn't totally suck, still looks really good. Regardless of schedule, I'd rather play tOSU or LSU in the CFP.
