it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but few things do. i guess we're just different. but when cousins swiped his forearm into paul's neck, chris pretty much had a choice. hold his ground and shrug it off. or get the official's attention with some acting. a smart basketball player acts there. a dumb one doesn't. boogie was out of control and firing an elbow, inadvertant or not, he landed. you want the ball back? you want a free throw? you have to force the official's hand. what annoyed you made me smile.
Oof. The flopping and complaining is bastardizing the league. What you call a smart play by acting I call a lack of integrity. I simply cannot ever get behind a guy pretending to be hurt. Says something about that persons entire core belief system. That’s my opinion.
If it were just a game, they wouldn’t pretend to get hurt. The stakes are high, so high, that players are willing to embarrass themselves on national TV multiple times a game for the sole purpose of tricking the referees to call a foul.
No excuse for what Beverly did, but I have said for years that the NBA should hand out T's and fines for clear flopping. If they review the tape the next day and see that someone clearly flopped, hammer them with a fine. The fact that NBA officials fall for the flops and the NBA refuses to do much about them tells me that they are all good with it.

I am biased, but put Zeke Thomas over Stockton. I think Curry ranks higher than all Paul, Thomas and Stockton.
Oscar Robertson is above Paul and wouldn't be blown over by the breeze. I think Curry is a tick higher too, but obviously a different type of PG than CP3.

They keep doing it because it works (for the most part) in games at that moment. To remove it you need to review film and fine/suspend repeat offenders for obvious flops.
