Why the hell is Hill in the game?
Defensive matchup against Middleton. Bogdanovic is just not there with his knee and when McMillan puts in Gallinari the Bucks are making them pay.Why the hell is Hill in the game?
Not fouling Capella on the go ahead basket was a huge mistake. The Hawks are wise to foul Giannis under the hoop. The Bucks should have done the same thing anytime Capella touched the ball late. The defenders avoided fouling him inside a few possessions ago and he put it in point blank.
Bucks waiting to make their move with 0.4 leftGame ain't over yet....
not under 2 minutesWhat is the rule for intentionally fouling someone without the ball - is that allowed in the NBA?
in Planet Pat's defense he looked utterly poised, calm, collected and ready for the momentBarkley was spot on…the Bucks are just a dumb team. Pat Connaughton taking shots late in a game right now is pure idiocy.
Don't go all Philly on us now....THE REFS HAD IT OUT FOR THE BUCKS TONIGHT
This is beautiful.assistants to coach Bud: coach, here are our advantages tonight...

I am loving the long odds given by going against conventional wisdom.Because usually young teams with little to no playoff experience don't make runs to the finals.
Super teams can do it when they have a group of guys that have been in some playoff battles.
You could also look at the Suns and say what about them. They could be the exception to the rule, but they Paul and Crowder and they have also have yet to play a team that isn't missing an all-star or all nba player.
it certainly is impressive. Still can't help but shake if this is a 1 year thing, or if the Hawks will be legit for a few yearsThat's a pretty legendary playoff performance there by Trae. Dude is unreal.
i'm 50/50 on this postWhat a performance from Trae, glad it resulted in a win. Wow.
Yup. Played the drop coverage against Trae for 3+ quarters. Switched the last 10 minutes or so and the looks the Hawks got were much worse. Giannis and Tucker just didn't take care of the boards with the PatC, no BLopez lineup. By then though the Hawks felt they could win and Trae was already on fire with his bigs all over the lane.assistants to coach Bud: coach, here are our advantages tonight...

Milwaukee has to play with better energy, generally. they stood around too much on offense and weren't moving the ball. make em chase a little. pound the ball inside. shooting 58 three pointers or whatever it was in the first quarter when they weren't dropping, but continuing to jack them up seemed like a bad idea.Yup. On offense the Bucks allowed Trae to just rest on Tucker in the corner early and keep his energy up for 3 quarters. He waited until game 4 to try the real stuff against the Nets...at least he went with some of it in game 1 this series. Still cost the Bucks home court though. We'll see how the Bucks adjust before game 2.
The only other player to do this was Anthony Edwards.48 points in his first ever Conference Final game seems pretty good.

He was getting absolutely torched defensively, particularly in the 3rd quarter.Where was Portis at the end?
Was having a big game
