That's some nice home cooking for that Smart shot to not be in the act.
Yep. Bad call. Still blame Tatum for the loss. That's some nice home cooking for that Smart shot to not be in the act.
lol, just please never say in here that only 76er fans talk about refs. Refs didn't make Tatum only score 10 points on 19 shots, and get absolutely nothing else.
Embiid didn't look good last night, but on games like that he picks up on defense or other areas where he can.
Not even close to being in the act. Well that’s an exaggeration he was close but I thought the foul was before the shooting motion began unless Smart usually starts his shot while not being squared up to the basketThat's some nice home cooking for that Smart shot to not be in the act.
17 more yet reading Twitter the refs screwed them. Giannis does get away with stuff but no more than Tatum who tosses that off arm out on every drive. That 4th foul on Giannis was terrible too didn’t even touch Brown. Great game and series so farCeltics with 15 more FTs…
Indefinite but definitely NOT back for G4.Any ETA on Middleton or still indefinite?
Exactly. This is laughable: https://twitter.com/byjayking/status/1523067221093740544?s=21&t=OrWIt44sc8Iss1n6B6tZ7A17 more yet reading Twitter the refs screwed them.
He also takes a ton of contact that goes uncalled because he powers through it.17 more yet reading Twitter the refs screwed them. Amen. The idea of a Marcus Smart team needing to flop better is ludicrous.Exactly. This is laughable: https://twitter.com/byjayking/status/1523067221093740544?s=21&t=OrWIt44sc8Iss1n6B6tZ7A
Disagree completely. Doesn’t matter if Smart “usually starts his shot while not being squared up to the basket” given the game situation. Or do you think shooting motion is always the same regardless of situation? Not even close to being in the act. Smart wasn’t shooting yet. It was an easy call.Disagree completely. Doesn’t matter if Smart “usually starts his shot while not being squared up to the basket” given the game situation. Or do you think shooting motion is always the same regardless of situation?
Maybe. But I'd prefer to live in a world where we all know he obviously wasn't immediately shooting there and was just trying to grab a cheap foul. Just like the rip through. Which at least has been nerfed to a non-shooting foul, but should really be removed because it's bull#### and not a basketball play.Disagree completely. It seems like they’ve had a plan this halfThe Warriors have no plan against the Grizz except to play better than them, and they aint setting enough screens to be sure of doing that. not exploiting the young'uns' hypersactivity is damn near malpractice. if JJJ would actually play post now & then, they be up 2-0 and ahead here @ halftime.
If you could combine the best of Wiggins and Draymond into the same basketball player…..man…..it’s fun to see those rare moments when Wiggins actually cares about basketball.
I don’t think he dislikes it — but he clearly doesn’t love it.I have thought the same thing about Wiggins. He has the skill set to be a Kawhi type player. I think basketball to him is like a job to us and he dislikes his job, but it pays well and he is pretty good at it without having to try really hard or work at it.
I turned the game because it was over. Is this like Embiid? Where there was no reason to be in the game.Really hope Ja is ok. Hate to see any guy get injured, especially a talented young superstar like him.
I mean, they had cut it from a 23-pt deficit to 16 pts with 6+ minutes to go. It was a bit premature to throw in the towel imo.I turned the game because it was over. Is this like Embiid? Where there was no reason to be in the game.
Hey everyone. Welcome back to the regulars and happy to have any new people. Just a reminder we don't whine about the refs in this thread. Refs obviously make mistakes, but it all evens out in the end and the refs in any particular game are not for/against any team. It advances no discussion and adds nothing to bring it up. Thanks for sticking to our rules to make this the best thead in the FFA.
I’m sure the NBA appreciates your support. Can we at least have blanket opposition to the continued existence of Scott Foster?Hey everyone. YesI’m sure the NBA appreciates your support. Can we at least have blanket opposition to the continued existence of Scott Foster?
No but it still looked like he was fouled before he was in his shooting motion to me. Yes I’m biased and apparently the refs are tooDisagree completely. Doesn’t matter if Smart “usually starts his shot while not being squared up to the basket” given the game situation. Or do you think shooting motion is always the same regardless of situation?
I know we sound like old men yelling at the clouds with this but my god the number of walks not called is astounding. They travel constantly
That actually makes me feel slightly better about Scott FosterScott Foster is officiated th MIA/76ers game. Harden is 1-1O in his career in the playoffs when Foster officiates the game.
And it is not like James Harden is known for winning playoff games anyway.Alex P Keaton said:That actually makes me feel slightly better about Scott Foster
Jim Harden wasn’t winning those playoff games if Jesus Christ himself was officiating them.Alex P Keaton said:That actually makes me feel slightly better about Scott Foster

What do you think hockey should change to highlight skills that they haven’t already done?I am okay with the traveling or half step that they don't call. This is part of the reason why the NFL and NBA have gained popularity in the last 30 years and baseball and hockey have declined.
The NBA and NFL have adapted their rules to showcase skill and give fans what they want. The MLB and NHL have their a hardcore purist that refuse to change much and their popularity is diminishing.
