Same place as another poster in here. Uninterested in the sport until there's something Philly related to laugh at.Holy #### where have YOU been?
Wouldn't say they're the easiest 1st round opponent at all. I think a lot of it is also Boston playing really well. I think Brooklyn would probably at least be IN the series vs almost every other team in the East.yeah, he seems like he wants to be anywhere else but playing this series. so weird, who would have thought Brooklyn would be by far the easiest 1st round opponent
For sure. For as much as everyone has been praising Boston's play and gameplanning of KD & Ky....which is all well-deserved....they've won all 3 games by a combined 14 points. Even for Boston, a couple plays go differently in any of those games they could easily be down 1-2 or 0-3.Wouldn't say they're the easiest 1st round opponent at all. And with the 12th selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Viking select…that middle linebacker-esque security guard from the Target Center.Craig_MiamiFL said:MN nut jobs always wanting attention...

Fun facts: the cream in the uni symbolizes the cities cream city brick buildings. The blue symbolizes Lake Michigan.I like these Bucks uniforms...

Except Draymond. The Warriors are so fun to watch.
And Aaron Gordon is inexplicably terrible on offense. It's like he spends zero time in the offseason shooting a basketball.
Except Draymond.
He gets fouled dribbling down the sideline and then proceeds to prance around the court yelling for like 30 seconds nonstop to who? about what?
Also, Curry still coming off the bench feels gimmicky at this point.
They are miles better than Denver, so this series is no surprise.
I want to see the Suns, or even better, the Celtics beat the #### out of them. I know my Warriors hate at this point is mostly irrational as Durant is gone and Curry is really a good dude and is the greatest shooter of all time, but I find myself rooting against them almost always.
Agree it is kinda gimmicky. However, hypothetically if they don't lose a game until the finals, I wonder if they'd keep doing it just for 'luck'. Would be funny to have him sub in on the first whistle.Curry still coming off the bench feels gimmicky at this point.
So is Jaylen Brown.Just heard them say Kyrie is observing Ramadan. That's wild that he isn't even eating anything on game days after 5:30am!
Read that Brown did it in past years but isn't this year, but who knows. So is Jaylen Brown.
Hakeem did it every year as well.
That's why Bostonians were feeding it to him so vociferously in the eveningJust heard them say Kyrie is observing Ramadan. That's wild that he isn't even eating anything on game days after 5:30am!
Never in doubt.I’m shocked, Cotton. Ben Simmons declared out for tomorrow’s Game 4.
What exactly did they trade him for? Next season? What a little B.I’m shocked, Cotton. Ben Simmons declared out for tomorrow’s Game 4.
The guy is a genius. He obviously doesn’t want to play anymore, but he’s getting paid a TON of money to just sit there and watch his teammates play night after night. If you don’t want to play anymore, why bother retiring when you can fake an injury and make bank?I’m shocked, Cotton. Ben Simmons declared out for tomorrow’s Game 4.
Spinal Tap-outBen saw the sweep coming and really went full Mike Tyson.
I broke my back. My back is broken.
SPINAL.

Wish could say their performance was surprising. They've been terrible for months. Lavine hasn't looked right for awhile. Lonzo wasn't making up the difference in last night's game but they desperately miss him on both ends. A lot less of the iso basketball that's plagued them and long scoring droughts for years
Ayos play faded as year went on. Though his playing time now is a bit strange.
All said, they've already done more this series than I thought they'd do (win a game). I thought they were the worst playoff team based on play the last months.

Buddy this thread has been laughing at Ben for 5 years now. He’s was in the thread title so much a few Philly fans threatened leaving lol. You aren’t breaking ground here.Jonathan Givoney was right on his Simmons right up. This dude has zero desire for completion. Just amazes me how many people defended this guy for yrs. Maybe it was tunnel vision of wanting the next superstar, maybe it was because he was on their team, favorite player they grew attracted too what have you. I'd have paid good money to watch what the likes of Bird/Magic/MJ etc and even Kobe would've done to this clown during their primes.
Ben gets a ton of blame but I think the 76ers do to for not saying no and coddling the kid for yrs because the team was worried if he did become the player they thought he could be, then he'd leave them and they'd be screwed, This is a good reminder why Organizations run the the team and players play. Same with the Lakers/Lebron situation. Allow your guys input but final say comes from the big suits upstairs.
Overall the warning signs and big red flags about this guy were there for yrs. I got destroyed by a lot of people for saying this dude was a fraud too.
Read something that Ben/LeGM/Clutch might be angling for a trade to the Lakers in the off-season.Buddy this thread has been laughing at Ben for 5 years now. He’s was in the thread title so much a few Philly fans threatened leaving lol. You aren’t breaking ground here.
Also Lebron can make GM calls because he is Lebron, and again, he’s brought every franchise he’s played for a title. Ben is just Ben.
Told ya! lol Herb is unreal! He's had at least 3 or 4 blocks just like that this year, coming out of nowhere to block 3pointers. Crazy hops and insane court awareness, he plays like a 10 year vet. I didn't follow him in college (Bama, :dry heave: ) but he sure is fun to watch and I'm glad he's on our team. Alvarado too!Crazy
Pellies look like the hungrier and better team. Wouldn't be surprised if they wrapped this up in 6. I think Bridges finished 2nd in DROY voting. He's not the best defender in this series![]()
These late starts are killing me.
I will say Friday's game didn't seem to have the same energy (team-wise, I mean; the crowd was great) for whatever reason. Jaxson Hayes deserved to get tossed from the game for his actions, but they were sure letting a lot of rough stuff go before that (both ways), still no excuse for his actions and hopefully he learned a lesson there. That's about the only thing I remember from my mental notes on Friday's game.

Regarding the team's relationship with potential N.O.-area fans, this team needs something to break right. There are a lot of potentially ardent Pelicans fans in New Orleans that now follow the team casually, not yet willing to wrap both arms around the franchise. The feeling is that the NBA's mechanisms work against 'second-tier franchises' and that even if the Pelicans develop a good young team, the pieces will all get snapped up by the next super-team forming in LA, NY, Miami, Boston, or wherever.Pelicans are surprising. They got some pieces and a lot of hunger/energy.
My favorite tweet I saw this weekend (was apparently from 2021 referring to him in college):Told ya! lol Herb is unreal! He's had at least 3 or 4 blocks just like that this year, coming out of nowhere to block 3pointers. Crazy hops and insane court awareness, he plays like a 10 year vet.
