Wouldn't she have been posting all the time then?

It's ironic when the same person accusing others of something uses a fake account when they get banned to post. I honestly don't get complaining about it though. It's easy to just use the ignore feature to not see their posts but I guess some people just like the "me me me" attention

Maybe not so easy to find the ignore button for you since you continuously talk about having blocked me, then continuingly reacting and replying to my posts 😂

Feel terribly for Ben and Kyrie.   :bye:

If you told me at the All Star Break that the Celtics would sweep the Nets, I'd say you were crazy.  Congrats to Boston on turning things around and playing a flawless series.  Really looking forward to the matchup v. Bucks.

Putting aside the everyone hates Simmons take -

I get the Nets needed to send Harden away but to inherit that Simmons contract is crazy.  Maybe they had a wink and nod agreement with him that he wouldnt have to play this year but Ive never seen a player as one of the center pieces for a mega trade never play due to "injury" - if his back was this beat up how did he pass a physical?  The whole think just stinks to high heaven - there has got to be a side deal or something or else Nets should be suing/terminating their doctors or filing charges against the 76ers/Simmons for sending damaged goods.  The fact that there is no stated concern is very strange to me.

I think there's a few issues here. 1 I think Simmons is total BS and both 76ers and Nets should sue him or whatever and get his contract terminated and not pay him a penny more.

2nd Harden I think wanted to only go to the 76ers which made it harder for Nets to make a trade anywhere else and why some teams considered asking for an investigation for tampering by I believe 76ers owner Micheal Rubin who is good friends with Harden. 2nd to match Contracts other then Harris Ben Simmons was the only one as they weren't trading Joel.

3rd 76ers wanted Ben gone and Morey put himself in a rock and a hard place saying he'd only move him for a top 25 player so he kind of dried up a lot of options in terms of trade partners and different pieces. 76ers would've been better off adding multiple players rather then trading for just harden. They got a depleted bench and no depth behind Joel.

I'm sure we have other factors that we don't know involved here.

Doc Rivers not content with the most 3-1 blown series. He wants the 3-0 blown series all to himself.

Wtf is this offense? Where is the offense from games 1-3?

Brooklyn was +550 to win it all at the start of the playoffs.  Fair to say this might be the most overrated pro team in history?

They should sign Westbrook and have four of the most hated NBA guys of all time.  Though I'm sure Simmons still wouldn't play.

Good riddance, turd eaters.

Sixers melting down

They look like a typical Doc Rivers coached playoff team. Zero emotion, just going through the motions, lack of hustle etc. The only thing missing is people blaming everyone but themselves. All of this happened in LA with Doc. Doc won in BOS only because the talent won in spite of him. That teams should've won more titles though. One of DRose's first playoff games an OK bulls team took that Boston team to 5 or 6 games and had at least 3 games go into OT including the I believe 4 or 5 OT where Rose hit the winner at the buzzer.

I want to know where the defense and effort is. There's zero effort on rebounds and lose balls and just letting TOR inside the paint. Call me crazy but at this point if 76ers keep playing like this rest of the series they are going to be the first team to lose a 3-O series lead.

y'know, i watch watch a show each weekday morning - Follow the Money, shown locally from the VSIN gambling network - because there's no pimpin', no hype, not even picks and hot plays, just talk about sports action for people who bet

anyway, one the hosts was handed a paper on this morning's show and goes, "aw, #### - they called in the pros from Dover".  apparently, every time the league would like to extend a series, they have a ref who helps out and that's who Celts/Nets4 got. notsayinjussayin, i dont remember JayTay even being in foul trouble the whole season. Barks just called it the worst-reffed game of the season.

proud of the Green, thru&thru. of all the stuff they done to spoil Ramadan the last few days, the thing that impressed me most is that the Nets never led tonite. which a you Bucks fans gonna bet me a couple hun for Chance of Hope?

73 points with 7:00 left in the 4th is certainly not going to do it. No idea what they offer Harden next year, but it was funny how everyone freaked out the Sixers didn't sign him as soon as they got him. not sure how they pull the salary cap maneuvers for next year, but there were heavy rumors they were going to land Beal. Team definitely needs something, and Harden isn't it

What exactly are they trading to land Beal. There really isn't much enticing there. WAS won't want Harden in a Sign and trade.

i forget all the rumors from the deadline, but it sounded like they had something lined up and then Beal got hurt. There seemed to be some rumors that something was still brewing for the off-season, but i haven't paid enough attn to know

If I'm the Raptors I'm perfectly fine giving the 76ers those chuck em up and hope 3s every time down the floor as they haven't hit consistently tonight

I've learned when a star NBA player is traded you take every rumor with a heavy grain of salt. I'm not sure exactly on Pick assets but if I'm WAS I'm insistenting on at least Maxey in any deal for Beal. Harris is OK but doubt they want his contract unless there was a year left. Thybule maybe? Again I'm not sure if a Sixers offer is more enticing then another team could at this point. Other then Maxey the highest value asset is Embiid.

funny thing about this one, is they can't blame Doc either. Without being able to blame, Ben, Doc or Toby, it will be interesting to hear who catches all the hate
You can absolutely blame Doc. Wtf offense were they running? Hey had 4 guys out top all night. No two man game with Harden and Embiid. No Embiid down low. No drive penetration by anyone. It was all dribble till there's 7 seconds on the shot clock then scramble around to try to do something. Do that 40 times and yea you end up with 88 points.

Yes but only one that flaunts it in the face of the league. Guys can not live up to a contract or get hurt. Most guys don't just fake being injured and be fine with collecting a paycheck while embarrassing his team.
While also standing on the sidelines in the most "look at me" outfits and jewelry presentations ever.   It's like he wants people to not forget that he's there, healthy and just not playing for some reason.

Games over. Sixers didn't show up. 4 3's all game all from Danny green.
What's with that dude throwing up one really ugly airball 3 every game?   Seems like every game I watch with him he always has one horrendously off three pointer that make the announcers kind of pause in a WTF inner monolgoue.

Yep. This series seems destined for another game 7. Ugh.
Embiid hurt. Thybulle out in canada and looking terrible last night. Harden has handles and passing, but if his 3 isn’t hitting he really cant get by people right now. Danny Green keeps missing open corner 3s and making bad plays. Ugh.

Both teams lost the trade. Should have prioritized keeping curry over thybulle.

Again the lack of respect or interest in the Mavs...who absolutely annihilated the Jazz. It was so much fun to watch.

1. The defense looks amazing. Locked in.

2. The Luka at center lineup was reminiscent of the 2015 Warriors. Lighting people up around an incredible superstar who's ok on D, but everyone else is really good on D...except all 5 guys can shoot, no Iguodala or Draymond.

3. Whiteside ejected properly. Bullock ejected overreaction. LOVE seeing Bullock and DFS immediately step to #### a guy up after the cheap shot on Luka. Not people I would want to mess with.

4. Luka looked more like Luka and Brunson was better adjusted to being on the floor with him than Game 4.

5. Things are breaking for Dallas here. They always struggle with Booker, but a Booker-less Phoenix or a Pelicans team they whopped this season would both be very nice. They'll eat Valanciunas alive.

Sixers panic button 🔴
I think Joel has a dominant game where he just goes to work on the block and either gets easy buckets or fouls and they get the win.  Still having to go back to Toronto for game 6 is kinda funny (as a BOS fan).

I did originally pick Toronto in 7, so maybe it still happens, but Embiid is the best player in this series even when injured.

Nets disaster recap from a 30+ yr fan -

The first thought I have is what else would you do if you were in the Nets situation - they were bottom feeders for years - a literal NBA jobber laughingstock.  Then MArks starts building - puts together a pretty decent scrappy squad along with a solid coach and a ton of cap space.  Then KD/Kyrie become available - what else was he supposed to do?  Its a star driven league and to win the title you have to have stars.  So getting KD/Kyrie was a no brainer IMO - the other steps is where it went off the rails  -

While Lebron went to the Heat he was the main guy - Pat Riley was still in control of that organization - not so in Brooklyn.  KD/Kyrie became coach/GM/trainer/etc - thats too much.  That led to not playing, bad trades, no gameplans, etc - So Marks sold his soul to take a shot and it looks to backfire as of now - still cant say I blame him.

As for the future - KD/Kyrie and likely that awful coach Nash arent going anywhere - I have no faith in Simmons ever playing again.  The only hope is for the big 2 to realize they need structure and hand the reigns back to Marks to pick a coach and build the roster as he sees fit around them.  I dont think thats going to happen so looking at a few more years of mediocre run unless something changes.  KD getting older and other teams are going to throw the Celtic D at him

This is better than being in the lottery every year but its pretty depressing as a Nets fan that we couldnt even get one title out of this mess - so hate the players but give the fans a break - 30+ yrs of misery....so the same Nets run it back next year - in the words of the immortal Derrick Coleman - Whoop de Damn do!

isn't the knock on the Mavs chances that a team with a player this ball dominant can't win long term?

they can knock off a Utah team that gives 10% effort on defense and has one player who can score consistently but how do they fare against Phoenix, Golden State, etc.

Great insight, thanks for sharing.

Curious about the bolded. Seems like a no-brainer to make him the sacrificial lamb, especially since this particular lamb sucks at coaching. Kyrie didn't even mention him in his recent "managers" comment about his future with the team. I take it the scuttlebutt is that he'll be staying?

recent KD quote I woke up to - thus ruining my already ruined morning after watching that train wreck last pm

Brian Lewis: Kevin Durant on if Nash is still the right man to coach the #Nets: Come on, man. Yeah. Steve has been dealt a crazy hand the last two years, he’s been having to deal with so much stuff as a head coach for the first time, COVID, trades. I’m proud of his passion for us.”

I guess? That's a hot Rusillo take IIRC.

Jordan was 33%+ USG in title runs

Luka is at like 37% this season, lower since Brunson stepping up and Dinwiddie trade.

Steph over 30% even with KD on the team, then KD over 30%

LeBron was basically always over 30%...

I don't see a reason why that would super be the case to begin with, but especially now with multiple additional ball handling playmakers, I wouldn't be concerned.
