I don't really disagree with any of that, in theory, I'm just not sure I'm ready to write these guys off after 23 games especially after a playoff appearance last season.
They have absolutely mangled the QB position from the start. From the Peterman debacle last year, to the training camp this year, to trading McCarron, to starting Peterman in the opener, and trading up to get the biggest project QB of the group. They will live and die with Josh Allen.
On a whim the other day, I was looking back at super inept passing offenses, trying to find teams that failed to pass for double-digit TDs in a season (since it looks like the Bills are going to be there). The 2012 Chiefs were 2-14 and threw for only 8 TDs. Brian Daboll was their offensive coordinator. Coincidence? I'm not gonna say a guy can't change his stripes, and he's been in a ####ty spot talent-wise, but in terms of passing yards his offenses have been ranked 32, 29, 23, 32, and currently 32nd out of 32. For passing touchdowns, it's been 31, 30, 18, 32, and currently 32nd out of 32. Are we really sure this is the guy we want trying to develop an offense around Josh Allen?
