Ain't it weird how it always seems to knuckle & curve? WTF causes that?Cade York hit a 43 yard FG, and he looked really weird doing it.

speculation already running rampant that DTR will get the backup spot because they don't think they can sneak him onto the practice squad.Huge fan of DTR here. Watched him grow from an athlete pretending to be a QB to a legit dual-threat playmaker over the course of five years as UCLA's starter. My biggest concerns for him coming into the league were size and arm strength - both of which were alleviated during the draft process...
I figured he was 6'0'' with thick soles on and 190 lbs soaking wet. Instead he measured in at 6'2'' bare foot, and while 205 lbs is still skinny for that height, he clearly has the frame to put on 10-15lbs of good weight the next few years as he matures into his grown man body, which would put him in a similar height/weight combo to Aaron Rodgers.
Speaking of Rodgers, like ARod, it turns out DTR has a absolute gun. He tied the record this past year for fastest throw velocity in NFL combine history at 62 MPH (with Josh Allen). Mahomes' number was 60 MPH, as another comp. DTR can sling it WAY harder than I had perceived!
I go back to prime ARod as the best comp for this dude. I see a ton of similarities in their games. DTR was an absolute steal for you guys in the 5th round - and I think he's going to be a legit NFL starting QB, sooner or later. A few years sitting and learning behind Watson will do him good as he puts on weight. Rodgers sat for three years before becoming Rodgers.
if i'm Dobbs, not sure i'm excited about sitting on the bench tonight.

I am not 100% on this, but the 3rd QB is a part of the 53-man roster and not a practice squad guy.
did that factor in the Browns finally releasing Anthony Scwhartz?A 38.5% chance to make the playoffs according to ESPN.

not much. just a 7th round pick in 2025.I like Hopkins... He's solid. What am I missing here?
Free agent pitch sees Browns add former 1st round tackleBrad Stainbrook@StainbrookNFL
Still no official word on the fifth-year option for LT Jedrick Wills Jr.
This is the first time #Browns GM Andrew Berry will take the decision up to the deadline.
Quincy Carrier@Kwen_C
Browns are the perfect team to take a guy like Dawand Jones, won't need play right away, and the Browns have one of the best OL coaches in football. if he is gonna work out anywhere Cleveland is as good a bet as any
Forget about all this player talk. We're keeping the elf!Vote for the 2023 mid field logo...either the new dog logo or Brownie the elf again.
so Ward is back and Thornhill is Questionable.
thoughts?
they really should.we're beating PIT.
They always are and PIT still has TJ Watt.they really should.we're beating PIT.
i have a feeling that game will be closer than it should be.

the Browns certainly have the opportunity to get off to a fast start and position themselves well in the AFC North.at Pitt on MNF next week, the Steelers season is on the line already after getting thumped pretty good last week
At least they know their place right now in the NFL, it's not the Super Bowl
I watched a lot of the Cle-Cin game last week, it was in the Quad-Youtube
I was not impressed with the offense, super impressed with the defense.
Myles Garrett is amazing.

Week 5-BYE
I could see you all getting to 4-0 and a showdown vs SF but that offense could also make you stumble, still 3-1 is very doable.
Don't even go on the road after MNF game until Oct 22 and then it's B2B at Indy and at Sea, those 2 games shouldn't scare you.
The Browns have a chance to get rolling early on.
Steelers win percentage with Watt playing the full game: .690They always are and PIT still has TJ Watt.they really should.we're beating PIT.

Have we forgotten last year's 26 to 24 week 1 victory over Carolina (and Baker Mayfield)?1-0 for the first time since G.W. Bush first term
Yes, we are Brown's fans. We purge our memories better than any fanbase in the country.Have we forgotten last year's 26 to 24 week 1 victory over Carolina (and Baker Mayfield)?1-0 for the first time since G.W. Bush first term
did anything happen in week 2? i've already forgotten.Yes, we are Brown's fans. We purge our memories better than any fanbase in the country.Have we forgotten last year's 26 to 24 week 1 victory over Carolina (and Baker Mayfield)?1-0 for the first time since G.W. Bush first term
The end of the season came uncharacteristically early this year, other than that, no. We usually make it out of September with some form of optimism.did anything happen in week 2? i've already forgotten.
defense has only given up 15 points in two games, how's that for optimism? The end of the season came uncharacteristically early this year, other than that, no. We usually make it out of September with some form of optimism.did anything happen in week 2? i've already forgotten.
