Kind of like 2022 when they had a good record based on one-score wins over mediocre-to-bad teams and lost to the equally fraudulent Giants in the playoffs — whom we blew out the following week.Ya, I regret wanting the Rams to win.Wow vikings getting blownout
Now I REALLY want the Vikings to win lol
I dont think its that big a deal. Minn oline imploding and darnold turned back.into a pumpkin. Their defense also been exposed.
Not too mention its VERY minnesota to have a great regular season and lose the first playoff game. Should have seen it coming
Nolan Smith is really showing me something these past 2 months man, these last 4 games even more so.The Eagles' defensive PFF grades from Sunday's Wildcard victory
The Eagles had 14 missed tackles, the most in any game this season. Zack Baun missed 4 while Cooper DeJean, Reed Blankenship, and Oren Burks each missed 3
Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith each had 5 pressures while Milton Williams had 4
Bryce Huff only played 1 snap but had a pressure so... progress?
Nolan Smith led the team with 5 defensive stops
Darius Slay and Quinyon Mitchell were targeted a combined 9 times and allowed only 3 receptions for 19 yards while each recording an INT and a passer rating when targeted of 2.8

Not excusing what the guy did, but you saw a 30 second clip. For all you know the entire game, the guy with the go pro could have been egging the guy on trying to get a reaction, and then got the reaction he wanted so he get get hits and go viral.

If that was the case, the people around him would have defended him. No one is coming to his defense. They probably all hate him if he's a season ticket holder.Philadelphia Eagles 'decide punishment for disgraced fan Ryan Caldwell after he was filmed abusing...

i'm all for giving people benefit of the doubt, but i can't imagine any scenario prior to this video that would excuse the behavior.
story goes, there was a penalty call, she yelled at the field about it, and this guy from behind her went after her for it verbally, hovering over her. none of yous would have stood for it if that was ur wife i'd imagine.i'm all for giving people benefit of the doubt, but i can't imagine any scenario prior to this video that would excuse the behavior.
I didn't see the video. What did he do that was so appalling?

Out of curiosity, what should the fiancé have done differently in that situation? Seems like he got the best possible outcome imaginable (ruined the jerk's life) without resorting to violence (where I'm sure he would have been outnumbered by quite a bit).funny you mention that, there is the other side of this where in searching for the video i saw quite a bit of questions to the guy who recorded and posted the video why he didn't defend her. he is her fiancee.story goes, there was a penalty call, she yelled at the field about it, and this guy from behind her went after her for it verbally, hovering over her. none of yous would have stood for it if that was ur wife i'd imagine.i'm all for giving people benefit of the doubt, but i can't imagine any scenario prior to this video that would excuse the behavior.

This reminds me of that scene in Roadhouse:
Steve : Being called a ********** isn't personal?
Dalton : No. It's two nouns combined to elicit a prescribed response.
Being vulgar doesn't really move my emotions too much. But yeah, the guy filming should have stepped in, but I really think he wanted this type of reaction. I saw a picture of the video, they looked like they're about 3 rows from the top of the stadium. You gotta be an idiot to buy tickets up there and wear opposing fans gear. You're just asking for trouble, especially a game that isn't played at 1pm. Go spend a couple extra bucks and sit lower down. Your gameday experience will be much more pleasant.

Yeah but we’ll probably have to deal with shady officiating. After what LA been through nfl gonna wanna try to keep this close and hope rams pull it outBoth our lines are better. And our secondary should hold up well. Barkely ran for like 255 last time vs them. It might be ugly again but we match up pretty damn well with them. Add in its at home and not in a dome. I dunno you do the math
Probably a pick 6Jalen Hurts -- last 5 postseason games
96-for-143 (67.1%), 960 yards, 6 TD, 0 INT, 100.0 rating
11 total TD, 0 INT during stretch
hes so due for a turnover.
That fumble completely changed the momentum in that game imhoYeah he had a major fumble in the Super Bowl. This is just INTsJalen Hurts -- last 5 postseason games

The packers fan Twitter someone did some digging and guess what was found? He’s a homophobic. Apparently the wife was in on it too.So more coming out about the White Knight husband that sat and filmed his wife getting verbally abused. He had a donation campaign asking for tickets to the GB vs Philly game to quote "send me into the belly of the beast.". He brought his wife, sat back and filmed in a jungle and waited for a beast to attack them. He got exactly what he wanted.

Now the kicker though is that he is not Mr Righteous based on his Internet posts as well. The old idiom about glass houses would definitely apply here.

Now the Caldwell dude got what was coming to him. I'm sure that's not the first time he's mouthed off but the first time it was caught on video. He deserves everything he got. However, I hope they treat this Alex Basara dude the same way. People already think he's a ***** the way he let that guy talk to his wife but if he did it for Internet clout while saying things just as bad, he deserves it as well.

This doesn’t defend the Eagles guy though and gets what he deserves. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. He’ll be suspended at his job who are doing an internal investigation on this now. They’ll be pressured to fire this guy and will after have him sit at home on suspension without pay for a few weeks before canning him.

Fangio - "I think Trot's got a good future, and that future may be now."In light of Dean’s injury and Burks’ underwhelming performance as his replacement, should there be any consideration to playing Trotter Jr? Burks missed tackles were brutal.

yup. no need for a video and cry about it. Crazy how the internet is so wild and completely does not get the idea of not running to the internet when real life happens. My wife would have done the same thing, and if dude does that to my 7 year old daughter my wife and I are both jumping the aisle and dragging the dude down the stairs. Pretty simple. I also know this isn't the right answer, but what was that couple expecting wearing a Packers jacket and cheering loudly for their team. For me, that is fine if you are an intelligent fan, but anybody I know I would caution them that this is a possibility going to a home playoff game. It is almost as if this dude was excited that he found a d-bag fan that he could show off to other people.story goes, there was a penalty call, she yelled at the field about it, and this guy from behind her went after her for it verbally, hovering over her. none of yous would have stood for it if that was ur wife i'd imagine.i'm all for giving people benefit of the doubt, but i can't imagine any scenario prior to this video that would excuse the behavior.

All i keep seeing online is everybody bitching and moaning how bad Philly fans are and it a great big celebration by all of the keyboard warriors everywhere. The issue I have is my daughter is a huge Eagles fan, and has cried when they have lost in the past. Would love nothing more then all of the people running their mouth to stop and think for a minute.
lol, i have spent way too much time thinking about this idiot and the couple who were giddy to take a video of him.
Correct. The guy also has no clue how to read a room. The GB has a camera strapped to his chest and one in the guys face before he starts his tangent. You have to be able to see that coming.i'm all for giving people benefit of the doubt, but i can't imagine any scenario prior to this video that would excuse the behavior.

Even with that said, the punishment doesn’t fit the crime IMO. I’d venture to guess everyone has had moments like this (where you said something harsh you shouldn’t have) in traffic or somewhere else and i personally don’t think you should lose your job over it. The public outrage from millions was sufficient enough. At the end of the day it is just words and not like he did this at his place of employment.
The husband keeping the wife in harms way for the clicks while saying “let’s find this guy” (he’s right in front of you) is peak 2025 though. I felt bad for her in a variety of ways.

How do you think a guy in Packers gear punching a guy in Eagles gear at a football game in Philly is going to get out of the stadium alive? If the guy filming really felt threaten, drop the guy. It's worth the misdemeanor assault charge.

Nathaniel Hackett has entered the chat.Call me old fashioned but I’m a big fan of having a top 7 offense, playing to your strengths (run the ball crowd), not turning the ball over and getting better as the season goes on. If that’s “meh” and the only two examples are Andy Reid and Ben Johnson I’d be pissed if he left. You literally named no one who could replace him that’s available.Man I hope this is sarcasm lolKellen Moore expected to be "deeply in the mix" to become Cowboys next HC, per @NickHarrisFWST
Honestly, Kellen Moore has been the most "meh" OC. Nothing creative about anything he does.
Not at all. We won't miss him as an OC if he leaves.
If his offensive system is hand the ball off to Saquon and have AJ and DeVonta win 1 on 1 battles, then he isn't really a big loss if he leaves. You could literally replace him with anyone. What exactly does he bring to the table?

funny you mention that, there is the other side of this where in searching for the video i saw quite a bit of questions to the guy who recorded and posted the video why he didn't defend her. he is her fiancee.story goes, there was a penalty call, she yelled at the field about it, and this guy from behind her went after her for it verbally, hovering over her. none of yous would have stood for it if that was ur wife i'd imagine.i'm all for giving people benefit of the doubt, but i can't imagine any scenario prior to this video that would excuse the behavior.
I didn't see the video. What did he do that was so appalling?
My wife is a city girl, she would have laid the dude out.
Philadelphia fan victim blaming is precisely why I wanted to read this thread today. Well done!
