Nobody is saying the refs dictated the game. That was one team exerting complete dominance on another team. But if you were in the game thread yesterday, you would have thought the Eagles were hosed by the refs (which was not at all the case).

They might be weakness free (especially if their kicker is back lol).

Didn't see a ton of that talk TBH. And it wouldn't have been true. I know a lot of folks yelled for offsetting penalties after the scrum (I didn't, see above), but overall it was a decent job for the refs.

A lot of teams have been doing that, and its sorta wild that the team they actually decide to let Hurts do it, was the one with the best defense. Why didn't this happen against Carolina, instead of being a dropped pass away from losing a gimme.

I don't think they would be easy games either. I do think Rams or Tampa traveling the distance and dealing with the harsher weather would have an impact though.

That said, you can’t count the Lions out. They’re scrappy and resilient. All of the Defensive losses are stacking, though. Hopefully, the secondary gets some ponies back for the playoffs. Losing McNeill hurts particularly badly.
